At 67 years old, I have never heard a song as beautiful song! My mother passed at 90 years old in November of 2023, and this song is full of emotions.

I agree. Sorry to hear about the loss of your mum. My mum passed away in May and I so wish that this gem was available to play at her funeral. I've been coping well but each and every time I hear this song it destroys me as mum was my lanternlight. Keep listening to and enjoying this phenomenal band 🙏😊👍

This song is written by Tuomas, as a ode to hes Father that passed away in 2021, Floor sings absolute beautiful on this, and Troy hoining at end, perfect!! I lost my Father 6 years ago, and my mother 5 years ago, listening to this, will bring me memories of them, and a song of sadness, beauty and hope at same time, its a song i would consider a masterpiece, love it!!

This is a song I prefer listening to with my eyes closed. It's so beautiful and emotional.
Tuomas's father passed away in 2021. To me, this appears to be a song from the father's perspective. The people in the background are from a bygone era and are no longer with us.
Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time.
What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor.
A genuine real pleasure to listen to this for the god knows how many times in your company. Thank you. Another masterpiece from Tuomas and a tribute and ode to his father who passed away between the making of Human Nature and Yesterwynde.

Just when you think that Floor and Tuomas have reached every part of you "Lanternlight" comes along. I'm 58 years old and turn to jelly each and every time I hear it. The album "Yesterwynde" as a cohesive collection of songs gets better and better with each and every listen with the three early single releases as great as they are not getting in to my top 5... that's how good this album is in my opinion. For me its the best work that this phenomenal band has conceived and produced to date. Thank you John. 🙏😊👍❤️

Not at all what I expected when I first heard it, but so beautiful. I keep putting off listening to the whole album because I want to find time to sit and appreciate the whole thing properly.
Very good reaction John, good to see you back with this band. Full concert suggestion? Wacken 2013 might be the Holy Grail of concerts with how perfect that show was, but also consider doing the 20 yr celebration tour, Decades 2018 live in Buenos Aires. Also a perfect show imo. Be good! ☺️🤘✌️💙

Nightwish and Floor doin' Nightwish and Floor things. WOW. Straight to your heart. I lost my wife almost a year ago. We're in our mid 70s and we both fell in love with Nightwish and as time moved on we fell in love with the talent that is Floor. Carol would love this song so much. I can't listen to it without thinking of her. Damn, it's just beautiful.
