So pleased with the real map idea! I LOVE maps. Nothing is like a weathered map, so as a book, well read and travelled ❤ One can read and watch so much about Australia, but discovering it through your eyes is going to be absolutely fantastic. It is getting so real! Thank you!
It is so heartwarming to see such open, friendly, trusting people like Frank, who offered you the use of his 4 x 4 for a week. Maybe it sounds incredible at first, but I believe that many many people in the world are like this. We have just forgotten sometimes how to trust each other because of all the bad press that we are fed. Thank you, Frank and thank you Nick and Matilde for redressing the balance and restoring our hope and trust in humanity to do what is right by each other. I loved wave rock I am going to do some more research about it 😊
Too much Vegemite! People enjoy differing amounts. About a third of that. Spread with the butter on hot toast! Keep trying it with smaller amounts til you get your level!
Excellent video. Great start. Maybe you can meet up with Max and Occy when you get close to his neck of the woods. Maybe go to Australia zoo and meet the Irwin's. 😁
Great to see you two in Australia! You’ve been busy with some revised animations on the intro-I like them! Loved Mathilde’s responses to the Vegemite and the flies. You’re so gracious, Mathilde! Superb intro to Australia.
Beautiful oceans. unfortunately the Rip currents in Australia are very strong, narrow seaward flowing currents that start from the shoreline and can take you quickly out through the surf and a short distance beyond the breaking waves. Rip currents are one of the greatest, and most common, hazards on Australian beaches. On average, rip currents are responsible for at least many drownings deaths in Australia each year. You also have a lot of sharks, I hope you get to enjoy those beautiful oceans in the land downunder! Just wondering if the Oceans are cold?
So now you know why the bull bars are called roo bars. Also don’t forget to watch out for drop bears while you are here. It’s the best place Australia. You will have fun. Invest in bug head nets they worth it.
I'm really glad you made it to the wild west and met real wild West people. Awesome, aren't they. Enjoy your stay, and will continue to follow your journey. Love the bush chook.
Awesome video as always Nick and Matilda. Congrats on finally getting y’all’s Australian🇦🇺 adventure started hopefully albatross will soon be able to join y’all and really get this epic adventure started. And the Map showing all the places y’all been is an awesome idea. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s journey around the world.🌎

Welcome to WA I am based in Tom Price and happy if you need a place to stay. I reached out a few weeks ago but I am happy to show you around the Pilbara and or provide directions to some of the best spots. Although we didn't have alot of rain this year there are still some amazing places inland worth visiting
Yay! Australia! How kind of your host to lend you his vehicle!! Those beaches wow! Travel music ~ perfect! So very happy to see the map. My mother was a professional cartographer, drafting maps by hand, so I learned very young how to read (and fold ~ ha ha) a map, and I have a particular fondness for them. My traveling friends and I used them as wall decor pinpointing places we visited. Excited to virtually explore Australia through your upcoming videos.😊

Im really looking forward to what you get up to in Australia. I love maps so much! That will be a great addition. Oh my I don't think I could stand the flies. Do they bite? I'm pretty sensitive to biting insects. I really swell up. To see a white sand beach is my dream.

Some advice from an Australian.. Please learn how to use that snake bite kit! Be prepared, Google what to do. You probably won't need it but if you do get bitten you will need to act fast.
It's not the least bit surprising that you connected up with a local who was kind enough to loan you his truck and all the equipment.....people recognize your admirable qualities. Should be quite the adventure. I don't think I'll rush out to buy my first taste of Vegemite anytime soon.
Thank you! But really we really always amazed and we often think we will need to step up our hospitality game cause Frans and many have showed us what it really means and for us those are life changers at so many levels on our journey…. People are absolutely fantastic
Hmmm. Not as many flies as I remember camping in Australia, though that was mostly in Queensland. I highly recommend a horseback ride where you can experience the joy of cantering along while being pursued by a black cloud. Take in Tasmania. Very pretty. Though I’m an American, my grandmother was born and raised in Tasmania. Funny place to think of as the old country. Apps have their merits, even strong merits, but a paper map gives perspective. A road atlas book is a bit easier to deal with than folding maps.
Yes we ve heard this is a very reasonable amount of flies… hahahaha we have the nets ready when it gets worst. Hahahaha the horse back riding followed by clouds of flies seems epic. We will go to tassie not sure yet. Fascinating to have a grand parent raised there. Such a unique place
Some of the top beaches in the world with the whitest sand Caribbean islands Australia Clearwater Florida Philippines Maldives Tahiti Siesta Beach Florida Keys And many more! ❤
I was on this within 3 minutes of upload again! I must be reading your mind from half a world away! Anyway, Australia is beautiful, especially with the new drone. Love the music with the drone shots. Australia looks great. The only problems I see with Australia are the loooooog straight roads amd endless miles of sameness. Too bad the points of interest are not closer together. Each one is beautiful and interesting though.
You re the best!!! Must be morning for you also! Thank you! You ve noticed the change in the drone quality!!! It s insane. We sold the other one and bought this one exactly for this reason
Do not worry we have many twisty and hilly roads and more snow than Switzerland in Winter , Snow can at times be in Southern Westtern Australia often SAouth Australia, Tasmania obviously plus New South Wales and as far north as the Great dividing range around Towoomba in Queensland. Australia has much more to offer than many realise WA is just different in many ways
@@NextMeridianExpedition Thanks. Yes, that drone is like 8K, though my TV is only 1080 it is still very clear and like being there. Well worth the money. You are only going to those places once, so why not use the best drone you can afford? You will never be sorry. I can imagine when you are all done, and sitting in a chair at home, seeing those drone shots is going to pul you very hard to go back. I know I could never hold a normal job after doing what you are doing and having seen what you have seen. Do whatever it takes to get the subs up so you never have to work again and can keep traveling. This is another thing, if you can, post twice a week and make them longer with more scenery. My wife made the comment, "just show me the pictures, I do not care about the people or what they say." I do, but I have a feeling most people are like my wife. Eva talks a lot. That works for a single cute woman traveling alone. That was her hook. Especially in the beginning when she was in some pretty sketchy or very remote locations. You guys are relatively normal. Beautiful shots and locations should do it for you. You also need thumb titles that are click bait. Stuff like "It died", "Stranded in the Outback", "Eaten by a shark". Answers to the preceding. A kangaroo roadkill, Someone else, and a fish. LOL. Yes. When I watched it it was about 11AM in New York. I assumed the difference was about 12 hours.
You got stitched up with that much vegemite! Much better having vegemite with your butter, not a chunk like you had. Too bad you didn’t see kangaroos on Lucky Bay!
Bonjour d'Aix en Provence/Hi guys, I follow your voyage on YT and find it very inspiring. Apart from all of Europe, and 10 years of work and travels in Africa, I did the Halifax to Inuvik/Tuktuyaktu drive, then down to Frisco via the Inside Passage and back to Baltimore. After 35+ countries that I lived in and traveled, I can tell you that I always loved to cook local dishes, go to local markets, see local art and culture. That is unfortunately a bit missing in your videos. Why not show local bars, music events, local diners, restauants, street food?? Just a thought. Stay safe and have a great trip. Andreas/South of France

Thank you! But really we really always amazed and we often think we will need to step up our hospitality game cause Frans and many have showed us what it really means and for us those are life changers at so many levels on our journey…. People are absolutely fantastic
❤️❤️❤️
Great video guys, can't wait to see all of the Australia adventures 😊
Can't wait too! Hahaha it s really the beginning for us too everything is new !
G'day all the best Guys have fun
Thank you!
The color of the water on the beach is absolutely beautiful. The insects are annoying as heck
Both so true hahahaha contrasts is what makes life appreciable 😂
Some of the top beaches in the world with the whitest sand
Caribbean islands
Australia
Clearwater Florida
Philippines
Maldives
Tahiti
Siesta Beach Florida Keys
And many more! ❤
Oooh dreamy list
You guys you’ll never get proper Australian accent, it’s next to impossible. 😂 I tried so hard when I was there, and they laughed at me. 😂
yes we figured it is going to be complicated so we start with adding new vocabulary words
I assumed the difference was about 12 hours.
ola meus amigos, mas que da saudades e melhor intimidde com a Albatroz nâo e mesmo
You got stitched up with that much vegemite! Much better having vegemite with your butter, not a chunk like you had. Too bad you didn’t see kangaroos on Lucky Bay!
There was butter on the toast hahahah we ll try again someday hhhahahaa
Yes it’s coming very soon! We’re waiting or it at port 😁
@@NextMeridianExpedition mantab..saya akan senang menonton video anda..😊👍
