I would pay for pre-recorded courses. Alot of us can’t do live because of our work/school schedules but would be great to learn at our own pace. Thanks for all that you do. Definitely learning alot!
Thank you for your tutorials, i see a lot of production tutorials about mixing and that stuff but nothing about actually creating ideas and arranging songs
Learned a lot from this, especially not to shy away from layering a lot of things together. Would love to hear more about your mixing process on how to make all your tracks sit well with each other in the mix.
I've always learned good tips from your music breakdowns. The things that inspire me the most are the mouvement, the textures, the combinations of sounds. thanks !
Just submitted an application on your website! Absolutely love your stuff. I forgot to mention - I think you mention it in the course description, but I'd love if you could go over how to convey emotions through the sound selection, as well as creating a song like an oxymoron (but make it work). For example, a sad song, that is made into a dancy happy vibe, which makes it even sadder because it's kind of like a mask for the emotion. I wonder what are some ways we could exasperate this mood with sound selection, chords, and FX. Thank you for all you do!
Could you do a video on K-Ballad productions? Like the OSTs in kdramas. Songs like: - Even if we disappear by bDawn - Say Yes by Loco - Grown Ups by Sondia - So long by Paul Kim
banger track dude! Is your job to create kpop vocal melodies too? or even the lyrics aswell? Can you walk us thru how you would add original vocals for this? thanks!
Holly Molly, Papi Lee. You did it again. Right now I'm unable to join the course for lack of time as it's been a rough january, but one of my new years resolution was to do it, so I'll be seeing you! I would like to ask you, do you compose a whole song with lyrics over every track you make? Is it necessary to pitch it or are kpop companies also interested in instrumentals? (I'm also assuming pitching kpop music must be a whole different deal than just selling beats). Anyhow, thank you for yet another masterclass.
Most companies are looking for full tracks with toplining! But I usually don’t do the beat and I have others work on the toplining and I only jump in the toplining when I feel like I can pitch in great toplining idea
really enjoyed this one! i like the long format and depth on this tutorial. one question i have, though, is when is too much? i really enjoy layering and making an explosive sound, but should i mindful of the possible toplining? thanks papi!
Layering is fine but when the melody gets too complicated, it could interfere with the toplining so it’s best to be careful at least before post production
I would say join course first if you want to maximize the learning! and then you could join the community to continue the training in a more practical level

I would love to see a more in depth video on how you approach reverb. Seems like a large aspect of what makes your stuff so next level
Being a multi instrumentalist is the 80% secret sauce to being a great producer, the rest is playing around with post production tools.
This is dope🔥🔥🔥
Really appreciate for sharing with us
Dios mío tengo que inscribirme en tu academia mi lord 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 gran beat
really enjoyed this one! I would like to know how you designed the harmony of the passage. Is it basically the same or can it be arbitrary?
