A very threatening letter, and this type of threat is brazenly given to everyone who seeks justice against these weird fanatics. Sadly the threats and actions they take will get worse over the next ten years. We can see that they now feel bold enough to issue direct threats and intimidation, with no fear of being evicted from the Western lands they threaten. How can direct threats to your legal representation not be illegal? It's on the same level as intimidating witnesses or jurors.

I dont know Australian law but thats HARD defamation and should be an easy court case, based on US law. So, i really hope the AU courts are similar and its an open and shut case for you.

It's got to make you wonder how many of these letters have been sent out to other organisations, that might not be as blatantly fabricated and vexatious, but hit the mark enough to gain submission to their interests. I am not saying it was officially written by these nut jobs, but it's clearly written by someone who works for them and had access to their letterheads etc. Also, they sent it directly to Avi's lawyer, NOT Avi himself. Thus, they probably didn't expect or even think Avi would read it out like this. I guarantee you they were hoping that Mr Quil would step back from the case and it would all go away. I don't get this BS about Avi fabricating this letter and making it up.
