For those of you wondering which songs are in this medley, the US Army Herald Trumpets open with a fanfare rendition of “America the Beautiful.” The US Army Band “Pershing’s Own” follows with the Washington Post March by John Philip Sousa. After a brief cadence, the USAF Ceremonial Brass performs another Sousa march, El Capitan. The combined bands conclude the medley with a stellar rendition of “Seventy-Six Trombones” from Meredith Willson’s musical The Music Man.
It's a shame I didn't know about this, though it may have been a private event. I was there that day, not too far from the Washington monument. I had marched in the parade with a marching band. It was quite the once in a lifetime experience! The fireworks were amazing too!!!

HAPPY FOURTH!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent, I gotta see that in person someday.
It's "El Capitan", by John Philip Sousa.
AWESOME!!
The alto sax player missing his hat probably had to drop and give someone 10,000.
anyone knows what song is played at 2:49?
John Philip Sousa’s “El Capitan” march. At first it sounded like “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins.
God bless and give wisdom to the Super Powers (USA, RUSSIA, CHINA) to conduct destiny of the world!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA ALL TIMES
