Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 лип 2014
- Climbing beans are so easy to grow but they do need something to grow up. In this clip, Tanya shows us how to make a teepee out of wooden rods for the beans to climb up as they grow.

I love this lady's energy!
You’re my kind of gal, using your hands (without gloves) to add fertilizer & bone meal! Love the video! Thanks for sharing your expertise!
So easy, thanks Tanya. Love it!
Such a happy and enthusiastic gardener, It really made me want to watch more videos of yours :)
Appreciste your demonstration. Hope it's ad easy as you make it look. Thank you very much!
Great tips! I'm going to make this for my clematis and sweet pea flowers. Love your videos. Especially the mini compost container for small gardens.
I'm making some of these for my beans,, I want happy little beans..
I agree with others that it seems like the teepee shown is too short, though the idea of wrapping the twine and how the vines will know to find it is very helpful / interesting. My pole beans say they will grow 6-7 feet tall so I will do a tee pee with 8' tall stakes since you loose some height to anchor in the ground. I do love your passion and appreciate the video. Thanks!
Love your energy!!!
Right!
Lovely job!
I am adding this into my raised bed garden now. thanks ♡
I looove your energy.
What should one do when the climbing beans grows taller than the "teepee" as it con't to need support?.
Do it with taller bamboo and you can get more support by adding a stick in the center.
Thanks!
So nice n cute .
my great northern beans would be on top of that in two days.
Pole Beans will easily grow 7' tall ...I've picked them on a Ladder
Do they usually stop growing at 7" ?.
Hello, I would like to know what kind of herbs are around the tipi? is that rosemary, lavender? I would be very happy about an answer. Thank you very much
Hi Sunna, it is indeed rosemary
Trellis is too short and too many beans planted..you'll see.
that teepee no good,,,,,by the time the stalk gets to the top the beans wont be producing yet,,,,,,you need like 4 more feet till the beans start producing
I'm new at this and my climbing bean plant is growing fast n tall to where its running out of the self made trellis I created for it. How many feet in total should one have for a climbing bean DIY trellis?. What will happen to the climbing bean plant if it doesn't have the sufficient amount of feet (height) to con't to grow?.
@@knowledgeispowerfful my trellis is 7 feet tall and I run out of room to grow lol....but I find around the 5-6 feet my beans start producing unless you growing bush beans that need no trellis
@@johnny0253 So what do you think will happen if the trellis isn't tall enough for the plant to con't to grow?
@@knowledgeispowerfful They stop producing beans.
