    Hey JF! Have you had any luck with freezing things in the center of an ice sphere? I haven't attempted it yet, but I'm trying to figure how I would do it. Like freezing a gummie bear in the center. I could always freeze half, insert the gummy, then freeze again, but I feel like half of the sphere would be cloudy and the other half clear. Your thoughts on the matter would be awesome. Cheers!

      @@TrufflesOnTheRocks thanks a lot i will buy atmos ice press then. Can i ask one more question, would be happy if you could suggest regarding making clear ice for a cocktail bar. Have you heard of system ghost ice system (a bit pricy) ? do you think it is easier to buy those for a bar or instead just using many different coolers and then cut them into pieces with saw band machine? i am asking in terms of having always enough clear ice in the bar. Would be so happy if you could share your opinion!

      I got it for my personal use. But the built quality is premium and I'm sure it would be perfect for long term professional use. That said, yes it is quite a lot of money but I will have it for the rest of my life!

    if you only leave it in the fridge for about 24hrs, that bottom half of the ice that turned cloudy will never become solid and you can cut/chip it away so easily!

    • @TrufflesOnTheRocks
      @TrufflesOnTheRocks  4 роки тому

      As I said, the reason why I let it freeze all the way through is to get the extra ice to shake and stir and also to make sure my slab of clear ice will be as thick as possible. But yes of course you can always freeze only for 24 hours in order to get only 2 inches of clear ice.
