Nice video! One thing I would add to the troubleshooting section is that if you find yourself gradually turning right over time, this is something you can correct by practicing shorter runs where you make sure you're making throws at the same height the same distance in front of you.
The tip about practicing while kneeling was not something I ever thought of nor had I heard it anywhere. I'll have to try that, because I spend most of my time chasing balls when practicing 5. I've been recording my practice to try and take a look at my flaws and I see myself definitely spending more time picking up balls than throwing them while learning 5. Good video JS

Awesome work! Yep you’ll start to see the improvements even quicker. Just remember if you’re losing control of the pattern, don’t force it. Just stop and restart. That way you won’t be creating bad habits around the throws.

Hey Michael, a “flash” is just 5 “throws” in the case of juggling 5. For 3 balls, a flash would be 3 throws. It’s just an easy way to say you made all the balls fly through the air 😂 For 5 specifically, when I started I struggled a lot with making sure those first 5 throws went to the right spot. If one of the throws was too low/high or outside of the normal pattern it would mess everything else up. So whenever I’m learning something I try to get the “flash” as close to perfect as possible to make sure the pattern works for me. I hope this makes sense!

I can juggle 4 balls for a couple of throws and make some variations, so now, I'm watching this video and it sounds like the next step lol. So, I wanted to ask, about those red balls, could you refer me to the seller and tell me the measures? I'm juggling with 65mm "beanbags" from Decathlon and they are getting pretty worn out, I even got some bouncing ones and I loved the feeling, but I keep juggling with both alternately. so if i get this right, the basic method is in a close relation to a three balls flash (having all three balls in the air and continuing the cascade), except with five balls you wanna have time to throw extra two balls and then just keep the same pattern as if you were juggling with three balls, right?
I’ve been thinking about the “how” of teaching this for the last week and am working on a video. It’s simple, but not easy to explain so I’ve been struggling with figuring out angles with only 1 camera to film. I’ll see if I can get it uploaded this week!

Today I finally managed to flash 5 balls consistently. After an hour I am consistently catching 6, sometimes 7. Maybe in a week a 10 balls catch?

Yep you get it. When the 3 balls are up in the air on the flash, both hands just have a ball waiting to throw.
