    Did this trick once by accident. I used to have lots of fun as a kid skating the roads and jumping over the sewer caps and this once time I reached it at almost 0 speed and boned the ollie instinctively to get over the obstacle. Pushing yourself into situations you were not expecting can show things you are able to do that you didn't even think of

    I'm learning Ollie, and I think that's one thing very important that I've never seen in all tutorial is the "arms moviment" to get more impulse to push you up and your jump be High and because of that, you I'll have more time to do all this moviments that everyone's teach and seens imposible. I've been skating for 1 month 2 weeks and 3 days and I've been learning how to Ollie for 1 month 1 week and 2 days.I'm getting the board in the air consistently (all 4 wheels off the ground).However my 2 main problems are 1 landing crooked which is why I haven't moved on to moving Ollie's yet because whenever I do them I land crooked and slip out bad.And the 2nd problem is leveling my Ollie's out.You see I got the pop and foot drag mostly down so I'm getting my board in the air but I can not for the life of me bring my back foot up after I drag my front foot to level it out as shown at 5:08.I can bring both of my knees into my chest and jump really high regularly off the skateboard when jumping with 2 feet.But jumping off of 1 foot on the skateboard after I pop and drag my front foot up my back foot sort of just chills and doesn't come up then gravity brings me back down.Now I don't completely do rocket Ollie's my back foot comes up a lil bit but just not enough to completely level the board out and get the most height out of my Ollie as possible.

    • @KratosMayhem
      @KratosMayhem 10 років тому

      Evan S My Ollie's are becoming even more consistent, I do them while moving, I don't land crooked as often anymore and pushing my front foot out forwards helps me level the board out more but I still have some trouble with the back foot so I'm not completely leveling them out as much as possible and getting the maximum height.Overall my Ollies have improved since I posted my original comment to help with my back foot issue I'm trying to Ollie over decks starting with.But with 1 problem comes another and the problem now is my timing but hopefully I get it right with practice soon.My goal is to Ollie at least 3 decks consistently before I hit my 2 month Ollie journey mile stone.

    Hi man I noticed that you suggest to use the right part of the foot for ollie -> 1:00 and now I just realized that I've been using the front part of my foot for my ollie (in which you said that it should be used for kickflip) -> 1:04. (Actually it's not literally that front part of my foot that I've been using for ollie, it's more like in between the front and the right part).
    I'm a beginner and am starting to feel confident of my ollie. It's far from perfect but I've slowly managed to achieve a certain height and board control.
    What I really wanna ask is....is that okay to maintain my ollie form? Or would it be a problem for me in the future, especially when I start to learn about more advanced tricks???
    Personally I think that it would be a problem for me if I have to change my form since it means that I have to start all over again😅 lol but if you think that it's necessary.....no choice then he he
    I could really use your help. Please kindly advice. Thanks🙏

But when I do Ollie my board doesn't stick to my back foot, I can Ollie over around 2 board and Ollie up a ledge. I tried to drag my front foot up till very end of my board, but it doesn't help... So please please help me out

    • @Skatour97
      @Skatour97 9 років тому

      188999 0 it helps you to ollie higher, especially over obstacles. Often, you can get your nose over the obstacle but not your tail, because even when the board is parallel to the ground, the back trucks hit the obstacle. The Ninja Kick Ollie prevents that from happening. And it looks super stylish, doesn't it? :D

    • @1889990
      @1889990 9 років тому

      Skatour97 yeah, it looks stylish that true, but i dont really have any trouble with my back trucks while jumping over or on something ^^ but maybe i will try them out :D

      I had one that looked a lot like that, but aaron spray painted it green. It was by the brand 1080, and it was just sort of a cheap plastic kicker. Problem with it is sometimes the bottom goes up a little bit so your wheels might hit it when going up.
