Yes, I do press flowers myself. Certian flowers hold color better than others. Faiding is part of the natural process although my work is framed in museum quality glass and I recomend not hanging art in direct sun. It's also helpful to have very fresh flowers.

I use archival glass and a craft glue.

I'm using real pressed flowers, no paint.
is it two pieces of glass so the flowers get preserved and stay pressed?
Yes, the flowers are mounted to the back piece of glass.
