Decent fan! I don’t really like tower fans though. For the next fan you get, I’d recommend a Lasko Wind Machine, and then compare it to your Lasko Cyclone.
I had a all black one from Walmart that I gave to my friend. I want another but Walmart only carries the white ones this year and I wanted another black one. I have a Lasko 20 inch stand fan coming soon though so we shall see.
I've had a white/grey Lasko Wind Machine for several years and love it. Walmart is carrying both the white/grey and black currently for under $30. I bought four more. Really moves the air.
i know its not supposed to make your room 'cold' like an air conditioner but after losing my old model of an old 48 inch lasko fan i have tried other similar ones but none compare like lasko as far as air force and in my hot ass room with 4 monitors and a pc running all day that old fan def made me cold at times so i'm prob gonna get this since it's the only one close to what i had originally even if it 'only circulates air' the breeze can make a huge difference.
I need a tower type fan because of small footprint. I am looking at the Lasko fans. They make a Hybrid tower and a Tower series, what would you recommend for the Hybrid series and what for the Tower series for me to look at?
It’s tool-free, should just have to align the two halves of the base, snap them together, then align the two pins at the bottom of the base with the holes in the stand that you just assembled, and twist to lock.
Thank you so much for replying. Sorry I think I asked my question wrong. If the fan is on and the power goes out - will the fan come back on when the power comes back on? Thank you so much!
@@FansandCars hey my brother that was my plan too. I want use smart plug and plug the tower fan. But I do appreciate you help to get me the answer much appreciated.
The newest models have tamper resistant screws, they can be removed, but it needs a specific screwdriver that many might not have immediately available on hand.
Thanks for clarifying.. I'm just ordered one after eating this review.. You have me sold thx..🤗 God Bless ...
Glad I could help!
How was it? I'm guessing it was a bit dry. LOL. Just messing with you, I read your comment and kinda cracked up.
This fan has my room cold! I’m so impressed
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this
On low, mine seems to vary speed. It’s not constant

My lasko fan is having issues if it is plugged in, it will not work then I will unplug and plug it in it works but works slower than the lowest level.
How’s the oscillation ?
I need parts for this fan. I need a stand for it.
How do you install the base????
It’s tool-free, should just have to align the two halves of the base, snap them together, then align the two pins at the bottom of the base with the holes in the stand that you just assembled, and twist to lock.
How to mount the base
Hey my brother Does it remember you last settings if there is a power outage ?
No, it defaults back to high speed IIRC. 😃
Thank you so much for replying. Sorry I think I asked my question wrong. If the fan is on and the power goes out - will the fan come back on when the power comes back on? Thank you so much!
No, it does not come back on after a power outage unfortunately. I wanted to use this fan with a smart switch and I can’t do that for that reason.

What does “osc” mean on fan control??
The tower will rotate left and right to cool a wider area.
does it make alot of noise?
No, it’s pretty quiet! 😀
It does have a "buzz" to it. It's noticeable.
It looks slightly taller than my vornado tower fan with 4 speeds.
It’s a 48 inch fan. It’s huge lol.
Fans and Cars I don’t think I could handle something that big.
Joe I thought that too but I was completely wrong. Very satisfied now.
I bought this fan at best buy.. .and ima taking this piece is crap back!
Very expensive and don't blow air at all!
I have the Lasko t48320 with Fresh Ionizer.
I didn’t want the ionizer version because it gives me a headache
Does the light bother you at night ?
It is pretty bright yes
@@demarkusthompson2867 yeah it doesn’t do anything.
It’s supposed to make the air smell ‘fresh’
Does this fan blow heat?
No this is cool air only.
Hmm my Lasko tower fan screws are removal-able!!

I just barley got one, Why does my smell like oil or like plastic,
It will fade away after some use, its from the manufacturing process.
I wish I could get this fan but 67 dollars is I think a lot
I have another Lasko you might like that’s only $42 it’s coming soon.
I just order one for $53 from Amazon for the same one.
There ya go! Way to save money :D
