I feel like you guys were judgmental here. The things that she said that made it judgemental was the bucket bath and the flat share thing. She has a right to have her standards for the guy she wants. Her age is not a problem. if she’s noticing things that she knows that it’s going to be a problem, she has the right to express that and to find someone who aligns with her. As for the point of “moulding someone into what you want/trying to build with the person”, she’ll be wasting her time because the guy isn’t on the level she wants him to be at. She has the right to point out these issues and decide if she wants to stay with the guy or not. Essentially, I feel as though you are expecting her to accept the person she with right now because she hasn’t found anyone yet (that doesn’t mean that there’s a problem with her btw). She’s allowed to speak her mind about things that doesn’t fulfil the basic standards of what she wants in her future partner.

You guys really want a 31 year woman to not be bothered by a guy with those conditions , would you let your daughters marry someome like that especially given the fact she's 31, she literally can't afford a second chance, do you think that man can take care of Kids and a family in his current state
End of the day the woman is foolish for seeing his life and thinking he has what it takes to take the responsibility of a family
And the man is foolish for proposing to a woman, when he clearly knows he is not ready to take care of extra people, seeing as he isn't where he wants to be
All in all I blame the PASTOR😂😂

What everyone missed is within those small little actions from the guy, he showed no kindness or mindfulnes towards her. You can’t put a few items of her shopping items into your cart, you couldn’t tell her babe don’t worry about the trolly next time, I will do it….Lastly going into marriage at that level of broke is very irresponsible. I’m normally against long engagements but in this case, she needs to talk to him about the value of acts of kindness and generosity no matter how small and see how things go.
