You have the best fashion style tips. You wear every clothing perfectly. You did not have to show too much skin or have to look cheap just for the sake of "following the trend". Your style has been fancy, but sensible in a way that can be worn on both casual and business-related occasions. I love it!
It is hard to look fashionable for me when it is snowy and icy outside. My scarf blows and my hair blows and gets stuck in my earrings. I usually end up pulling up my coat hood and also wearing low heel boots too. I also wear gloves because I don't like cold hands. I always admire ladies who look fashionable at the grocery store when it is below zero outside. Love ur videos!
You are a very well polished lady. I am totally stocking up on thermals for winter thanks to your tips to layer. Great idea to put your hair back when its windy. I get sick of hats & beanies in winter
Hi Josie I love all the looks. Could you do a budget version as there's no chance I can afford any of these lovely pieces as a young mum of three I still want to look this stunning xx
loved this :) i also think a cashmere scarf, wool beret and some nice gloves, leather/suede lined with wool, or just wool keep me warm and don't make me look like a child about to engage in a snowball fight (although i do love snowball fights). and warm underlayers that are not on show like thick socks are a must in winter where i live, it gets as cold as -10 C some days.
That Chloe Tess bag is so on-trend and gorgeous. It elevated the look one million percent. I love that you particularly wear colours that compliment your skin (light and muted) no matter what season it is. I think that's the most important fashion tip in any season that people often undervalue the significance of. I don't think you need to add any pops of colour or darker items. I also agree that light-coloured coats in winter look very chic, especially pairing them with something a bit darker underneath. As a sort-of additional tip, I would recommend glam-ing up the look with some pieces of jewellery (as you did) as it contrasts really well with the types of fabrics we normally wear in winter by adding that bit of shine and smoothness that's often missing.
Thank you for all you do for us. I have been lightening up my wardrobe and it "feels" so warm and cheery even on a budget. (Macy's, Uniqlo, Marshalls, TJMaxx, Walmart & Target) Yes it can be done!
I would always add some beautiful accessories such as hat, scarf and gloves to my outfits. I adore cashmere, leather or fur 😊 for those cold winter days & evenings.
Very nice video. Highlighting important pieces of your wardrobe. Simple, yet stylish and classic. I am blonde and always thought that black was the most flattering color for me in Winter. I saved my love of pink for summer. After watching your videos I am starting to revise my winter wardrobe to include more neutral shades and pinks!
I'm not sure I have learnt anything new here. Buy neutral classic palettes. Invest in 'expensive' key wardrobe staples. Keep everything well groomed. Surely those are the basics any fashionista knows? I was hoping for more useful tips on how to wear layers to stay warm without looking bulky, more on hats as that's where you lose most of of your body heat. Other key pieces like gloves and scarves. And boots that are classy but also rain/snow/ weather proof yet still go with your wardrobe chic. This felt more like an ad for Reiss mainly amongst others. Some nice pieces like the skirt but don't feel like it did justice to the title.
@@JosieIrons Josie, for any new subscribers that may well be. But for your regular followers this is a recap of tips you have covered many times previously, hence my saying nothing new. Dressing classy in winter requires additional items: hats, gloves and scarves are must haves in January. It would have been a nice way for you to add new content and work with another retailer who offers these classic key pieces, alongside durable weather proof bags and boots. We already know about your love of neutral tones and how well you style them, just felt like more of the same to me.
Jordan Trent. Very true Jordan, this is not really going to keep you warm in these cold coming months. Yes you can still be stylish and warm with the right winter accessories - hats, gloves and scarfs were needed, but none of these are shown, so would of not really of called this video how to look classy when it's cold. 😕
I don't know about you... but the classics bear repeating and repeating and repeating. Of course, I live in Los Angeles California which is the Sh*T capitol of fashion. So many slobs. Unfeminine, unkempt, out of shape, disgusting slobs who don't know what an iron is.
I personnaly layer so so much! Under my jeans and my sweaters/shirts I always wear tights and lighter jumpers that help to keep me warm. Not forgetting about the scarf, gloves and hat/beanie of course! French Alps get so cold at this time, I wish I'd live in CA sometimes!
Love the tips, very useful! I like dressing in monochrome outfits, beige, white, dove grey, camel for winter because it looks stylish and polished! Also, a coat with fur collar is a nice way to both stay warm and stylish. Cashmere or high quality leather gloves add that extra element as well! Love the flat hairstyle, a nice change!
You’re the best for sharing and giving advise as how to buy affordable bags that won’t break the bank for those of us that want to be stylish but don’t have the means to spend a lot! ❤️
As I’m watching this morning , we in Toronto Canada are waking up to 20 cm of new snow! No worries though , I will channel my inner Josie and Freddy from the Alps and look stylish as I dig out the drive way to face another day Braving the weather is all in the attitude cheers !
I’m learning the value of material choices in my winterwear. Just because it looks like it will be warm (knitwear) doesn’t mean it will be. Label reading! And creating air pockets. Like architecture it’s the air spaces between layers which keeps you warm, so over layering can detract from the benefits.
Josie, Absolutely loved this video. It is so helpful to have the teaching element...plus where we can find the pieces to achieve the look at several price points. Can't wait to see more.💖 Linda
Beautiful Josie! Loved them all, especially the last one! I love wearing all the same colour outfit in the winter, or just having one stand out colour item, like a red bag or red leather gloves. x 😄
Honestly feel like this video was made for me, I really struggle when it's this cold, I want to look/ feel nice but just have to layer up! I've been wearing the M&S thermals for years too and I absolutely love them, they definitely make a difference x
Love this style video - and what's nice is the visual inspiration! I will use your suggestions and apply them to my wardrobe. We all have something similar in our wardrobes that will work 😌 keep more of these videos coming. Thanks Josie! ❤️🤗
Lovely video Josie... plenty of great hints and tips. I have got myself the white faux fur headband that you have, from River Island. It's an absolute Godsend in this cold weather but looks so much more elegant than a knitted bobble hat... I just love it. Sending love as always. xxxxx
Josie, I adore you!! I just found you this past week and I bought a quarter of the things you talked about in your January videos. You're my sinful pleasure and my version of heaven would be your closet. If someone asks me what my hobby is right now, I'd say it's the Fashion Mumblr!!! LOVE U QUEEN.
Beautiful video! The outfits are amazing I love them all! So chic and classy yet provide warmth for when it's cold out! Great format to showcase all these amazing looks! Perfection as always! Take care Josie and much love 💙💙
Finally found someone who shares the cringes when a girl uses the word 'classy' to describe herself! Loved the video, it was so helpful especially for us who live in colder climates. Could you maybe do rainy/snowy day outfit ideas (especially regarding elegant footwear because it's definitely the most difficult to find in my opinion)? Keep up with the amazing work! Thanks! I'm a "month old subscriber" and I'm so happy. Especially with this and past video because is important to me looking polished not only on a black suit (lawyer) but add something extra & makes great investment for years not only on cold weather equally on transition pieces like the colorful-elegant pleat skirt.
a nice, good-looking coat adjusted to one's type of body shape and colour that suits, certainly helps. The right coat in winter can just make the whole outfit :)
You have such a lovely warm way of speaking and delivering your message :) however unfortunately these outfits look more like for autumn to be honest, in winter I’d be freezing in these! And I’m only in the UK.. 😅 I would really like to see a video for lower temperatures!
Hi Josie, I love your fashion videos and always find them to be really good inspiration! I was just wondering what you wore when you went to university and whether you could do a video on this and any tips you had? I study fashion marketing so a similar field to what you did and so many people on my course always look so polished but some mornings i feel like i have nothing to wear and end up chucking on jeans and a hoodie! Any simple student tips would be amazing! xxx
Josie - Would love to see a vlog on handbags you would recommend that are not designer bags with high price tags. It would be lovely each season to see good looking bags from what you call the high street that you think would be good buys and more affordable for many of your subscribers.
I love and adore your videos, your videos gave me great 👍 ideas 💡 on how to pull my pieces of clothes together to look more professional and casual at the same time keep up the videos pls!

Beautiful as always Josie, the last outfit was gorgeous. Love the colour of the trousers. Good luck on reaching 400k, nearly there now.
