I respect and applaud those willing to live without so many of today’s comforts to conform to such idealistic goals. And I also respect those who make their choice to wear silk. Wherever you choose to position your beliefs within the circle of life is your prerogative... just as it is for everyone else. Kudos for doing your part in the way you see fit. And kudos for everyone else doing their part, no matter how big or small or whether it lives up to your ideals or not. Freedom to choose can sometimes feel like a double edged sword, especially when everyone doesn’t share your same ideals, philosophy and goals. Again, kudos to you in your quest saving silkworm larvae.
I give myself a little facial every time I apply my moisturiser. I spend 10 - 15 minutes massaging in my moisturiser and then my makeup looks so much nicer. Love all your tips Josie. You always looks so polished and high end! x 😄
Great tips. I also think that the condition of your footwear can make or break a look. It doesn't matter how much effort you go to with the rest of your outfit if say, you are wearing cuffed shoes or shoes that need re-heeling. 💕
I've just started taking my make up off and cleansing my skin as soon as i get home. I would usually postpone it until bedtime, and now i can't see why...(well, i know...lazy me🤷♀️) but i think it is a great beauty trick, glad to see some Josie wisdom shared with everybody😉

I’ve bought cashmere from Lilysilk before and they are good value and the shipping was fast. Still have to bite the bullet on silk itself, always wary of the care. Couldn’t agree more about the hair in regards to looking polished. Feels like a facelift to my whole appearance.

Just a tip from a fellow pianist: keep your nails neat and clean. That’s it. Clean under your nails regularly even if they’re short, file them daily as to not get hangnails. You could also buff them once in a while, and a thin coat of nude nail polish never goes unnoticed. Even if your nails cannot be long, doesn’t mean that you can’t keep them looking nice!

Great tips, I've been meaning to change my pillowcases to silk ones for some time now, they feel amazing and I feel as if there is less breakout on my skin when I use them! I'd also mention the lingerie as well, it doesn't seem as such a big deal and nobody sees it, but it gives that extra boost and feel of wearing something just for yourself! And we all know that self-love and self-care are the first steps of feeling good! Btw, love that nail polish colour, do you know by any chance the name?

I think it is a good idea to buy from brands that care about how their fabrics are made and if their employees are well paid are their impact on the planet...
