Style tips I really appreciate. One of your best video tutorials Josie! My notes for my future reference. 1: analyze your current wardrobe and figure out what you love and wear most. Turn the hangers round as you put things away to spot the favourites. Think about what’s in common with the favourites. Take a daily outfit photo and see what you liked about them. I need to do this again. 2: find inspiration. Look at silhouettes and details. Textures and colours. Try to recreate the looks using what you own already. Spot what seems to be missing from most outfits for finishing pieces to buy. Like to know it app & Pinterest as search tools. I have a Pinterest file I use. 3: mood board of inspiration outfits. Keep it simple and realistic and in your own budget. My Pinterest files work for me. 4: go shopping based on the research above. Make a list of 5 signature things you need. They should go with everything you have already. Quality items in colours you are moving towards. To be worn on constant repeat. Eg the coat, bag, etc. Love this tip. 5: have some go to outfits pre planned. Take pictures and when having a foggy brain day grab that. Keep one ready in the wardrobe. Need to do this. 6: don’t focus on newness. Try not to get swept away by trends. Stick to classics. Preach it Josie! 7: it’s not just clothes. Makeup, jewelry and even nail varnish matter as part of the style. Hair. Nothing crazy. Truer words were never spoke. 8: have a few go to brands that fit your style. 9: audit and edit your wardrobe regularly. 10: generally just enjoy the process. Really good guide to finding ones style.
I would say I really didn’t have a truly personal style until I found you randomly in January this year. From that first video (2019 Trends), I knew I had landed on what would now be “my style”. A little late to the party, as I turned 70 this year. But I have been in the process of transforming my closet, although I already had quite a few items in this neutral/pink/rose gold palette. That’s how I knew I could easily adapt your style! Thank you, Josie, for being the inspiration I needed. No one else I know has this style, so I feel truly unique here in my little Sarasota, Florida.
I would love to see a series where you style some other people. I love your style but it's not easy for me to wear because it's very feminine and delicate... I wouldn't say I have the body type that carries this very well.
I love your closing message. Very important to mention that it doesn't matter how big you are. Even if you aren't happy with your size and are attempting to lose some weight, this message is relevant too. I spent the last 20 years not being happy with my size and my wardrobe reflected that. Lots of oversized, dark cover-all pieces. Nothing expensive because of my "I'll have lost weight soon so I won't invest in that" attitude, only to still be the same size years later. It's all too easy to put style and elegance on hold thinking "I'll do that when I've lost weight" But I've come to the realisation (years too late) that they are not mutually exclusive and actually bear no relation to each other. You can still be larger than you would like and have put-together style and elegance, beautiful hair, nails and make-up. I have now pressed unpause and am rediscovering clothes with Josie's help. I'm LOVING it. But oh how I wish I'd come to this realisation sooner.
Taking a picture of your outfit of the day is the best tip I had ever heard!!!!!! It is the quickest way of putting a whole set of outfits during the morning of a work day.
You are the queen of personal style. I was a bit hit and miss before I heard you proclaim it. While I always loved pink, white, dressing up, structured, tailored clothes, I would at times get distracted by trends and bring things into my wardrobe that didn't go with my existing items and they would inevitably remain unworn. Whereas now, I can own it!! I have lightened up my colour palette and it does make me feel calmer. I have really embraced snakeprint and sliding into a bit more grey, silver, red, burgundy and orange as well. I can say now that when I get a new item, it does go with existing items. It really does work to stay within the parameters of my personal style. Josie, once again, thanks for taking the time to put this video together. Dream big, and I am confident you will get to 500 000 subscribers by NYE!!
Love your videos Josie, I've struggled with fashion because of confidence and body changes and my colour palette is more black, grey, blue, green than beige or browns or whites but I still get so much inspo from watching you and I love how you're conscious of sustainability and asking people to reflect on current pieces or invest in quality pieces. I've definitely learnt to do this by purchasing more quality blazers, jumpers and boots and slowly move away from fast fashion. Initially I'd always default to the well it's all I can afford but purchasing jumpers at a higher price point but still high street i.e. Karen Millen has made me feel so much more confident, because they just fit me better, as you say, the quality is higher and I find after a wash they don't just lose structure, so upfront it's £ but long term in saving. I love how you share mixes of high end and higher end high street! Thank you and I will continue to watch xx
I love that you did a updated version of this. You are the main reason how I discovered my style. What is your favorite piece of clothing to wear? Thanks for the video Josie!
When I was in college I only wore black-grey, it felt safe because I never wanted to stand out. Now that I am 26 years old and feel good about myself I feel i can have a style that’s more me. You’re video’s helped me a lot and now that I’m older and have a good job I can invest in my own style. Thank you for you’re Great videos and advice.
Good advice, I noticed as I'm getting older that I gravitate towards buying pieces that are more versatile and more wearable in different combinations (buying pieces that you can wear only in one combo is something I think we're all guilty of doing in our lives:)).. and I like doing reverse hangers method, it's a great way of seeing what you wear the most and what style suits you! I agree that knowing ones' body type is very important, as well as buying what truly makes you happy (thank you Marie Kondo!) and what you feel good in- if high heels aren't your thing, then rock those flats! I find it inspiring to see a blogger/vlogger who isn't affraid of repeating and recycling, because it shows consciousness and maturity! Keep up the good work!
You and Freddy have helped me so much in embracing my feminity. I've really started to figure out what my personal style is. It is similar in certain areas but I do wear a lot more black and navy but in conjunction with blush/baby pink, white and beige. But I do have dark hair and very fair skin so I feel it suits me better but I am still learning. I love your videos and this has to be one of my favourites 💖 thank you for what you do
I am the same way. I feel I lean a bit more towards Josie..however, Freddy is so fun to watch. I too have fair skin and dark ( nearly black) hair . You should try a light pink. I get so many compliments when I wear a light rose color. I had never thought of it but when I wore one it brought out the color of my eyes and my complexion .
Great video as always!! Your videos are always so helpful!! My wardrobe is a lot of things!! I like to dress up! I like to be girlie! I like Edgey style!! I really do shine in the fall and winter seasons cause I like to layer which is always fun for me!! I would like to see a video on what to wear to work!! I work pretty much 5 days a week!! I work in retail!! 😊👍🌟
I know we all get compliments on certain things we wear - with me it’s teal things......however after watching your channel I feel the feminine light style is universally beautiful so I am adopting your style. I am 60 years young and like the commenter before me it wasn’t till I saw your example did I realize how perfect your style is so hats off to you Josie--after all isn’t that what an influencer does? I also watch Lydia Millen but she actually looks best with the dusty pinks.....hats off👍
Although I am Structured/Jewel tones style. I like your basic information and adaptability to my personal style. I am a single (by choice) 61 yr old lady. I project myself as powerful. As I am in control of my life. When I step out, I feel strong and vibrant. I just love your personality and foundation of fashion, which has helped me often focus on how to pull myself together. Thank you very much.
I really recommend the app ‘Stylebook’ to track your outfits. It also shows you what your most worn items are and the price per wear. You can also categorize everything by color or season etc. Super helpful!
I'd LOVE to see you styling someone who is a bit more on the curvy size. As in more of a 2 hour glass than an hour glass shape so to speak. I'm a size 14/16 US so I think thats a 16/18 Uk. I love your style and your clothing choices. Some of them just don't translate to someone who is busty and has a bit of a tummy ( 2 babies does that quick) Your style for the most part is very classic and one could be any age and comfortably pick practically anything from your closet and feel lovely.
yep that’s my problem! I’m a uk size 18/20 and I can’t find anyone with this style that is my size and it’s hard to imagine clothes on me when my only inspiration is girls who are a size 8 :(
I agree , I’m a size 12-14 UK and I love Josie’e style however I find that some of the styles are not suitable for my body type I would love to see you Josie styling larger sizes just to see how would that work.
Can u make a video on how to dress feminine or how to wear skirts? My style is almost similar to yours but it's just that I need some tips or motivation on how to put together these outfits so that they don't look overdressed
Josie's look is a bit over dressed because she models a lot of clothing and because she loves the look. I think that if you love this look and want to dial it down then use fewer or less fancy accessories and embellishments.
Great tips, useful for anyone to hear. I have always loved fashion, even as a child I would save up to buy Vogue’s September issues and began moodboards back then! I grew up with mostly second hand clothing, and I still have some awesome vintage hand-me-downs! You can really see the difference in those quality pieces, so much so that they become heritage items. Some of my favorites in my wardrobe were passed down from my grandmother and they are still in great shape because they were made well and treated with care. I would highly recommend for anyone with budgets on the lower end to get familiar with thrifting and the second hand shops in your area. It is definitely more work, but if you know what you are looking for (Thanks to Josie!), you can acquire real treasures and put together some great outfits.
Great tips Josie! 😉 I like to create my own fashion that is comfortable for me. Many times I think people forget about themselves and go all out with a fashion that is not really them. We need to be happy with ourselves and find the things that makes us happy. And to be considerate because we are different, we will have different taste in fashion styles and that is okay. Thank you for the reminder that we can find our own style. Always appreciate hearing what you have to say. 💕
I love this video, it's such useful information for anyone to help work their wardrobe and make more economical decisions about their clothing purchases. Love your personal style too and can work for so many different types of women, which is why so many find you inspirational 💕
Thank you Josie for another of your great videos. Since I found randomly just few months ago (your SS H&M haul) I fell in love with you, your beautiful style and gorgeous personality. Also, I am learning the English accent that way (so helpful too, your diction is incredible). Personally, my style changed a few times already. I used to wear a lot of trousers and blouses, but lately I switched to dresses, coats and everything more mature and feminine. I love color (not bright ones like neon or orange) and my style is bold, colorful, full of floral, prints and everything like that but at the same time it's not in your face. I love my neutrals like black, navy, beige and pastels. I prefer my accessories to be in neutral or color. I don't like rings or necklaces just because I don't feel comfortable in them and they always choked me. I love long (colorful) earrings because of my face shape. I also love high-waist pants because I am a pear on the curvy side (size 42/44 EU or L internationally) and in them I feel super happy. I am also super positive about myself and don't mind people's opinion. Thank you again for the great video
Thank you for doing these informative vids. I am newly "retired" & have more time than $$s lol, but love fashion. I find I feel better, & am treated better! if I dress well. No more slumming to the grocery store...a nice outfit & a big smile brightens everyone's day! A big thanks for your inspiration!
How do you stop from getting sick of the same thing? I can’t be interested in the dress after I wear it a few times. I need something new to wear. What’s the solution to this problem?
Another great video with helpful information! I love all the neutrals and I have been replacing items in my wardrobe with neutral pieces. However, with my auburn hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin, I find that I look washed out and not my best. It would be great if you did a video for people like me who love this light, airy, and feminine style, yet need to have a bit more color. Is it possible to achieve this look for me????
Josie, great tips and advice! I think this is such a great video. I put a lot of your advice into practice. I really think about price per wear and try to buy better quality. I speak about you to my friends and share your ideas as advice . I just wanted you to know how much you help people feel like the best version of themselves. Thank you!
Along with Emma Hill, you are my absolute favorite blogger, i just love your personality, so true and the way that you talk and express yourself is divine. Kisses from Madrid.
I love your style because it's my style too! You are right, is clothes, hair, nails, make-up, jewelry. I find my style when I was a child and sometimes somebody told me: - you are too elegant always, but it's doesn't matter because it was my style and it's my style now and I feel good, pretty and confident.
You are only girl of many UA-camr that where proper clothing.my favorite. every women should respect her body.and you are absolutely my favorite.very classic and elegant.
Love this video. I always struggle a bit with adapting styles or clothes that I discover and fall in love with into my own fashion style without copying them one-to-one. My haircut is now quite short and not really feminine - at least in my mind. Ever since I had my hair cut I have the feeling that I tend to more feminine clothes than I used to. I think that is my way to soften my look, to make me feel more feminine even with boyish hair, to give myself more confidence. Your videos and instagram posts are a huge source of inspiration but like I said - I'm struggling to adapt. This video is so helpful, thank you so much! Just what I needed.
Hi Josie.. I love your feminine, delicate and elegant style. Your style is so polished and inspiring because it tells us that we don't have to be a millionaire to dress well and represent ourselves as we'd like to! No matter what ones budget is, one can always find a way to represent ourselves as true as possible. Wishing you all the best for your marriage and future!
Josie, this video has such useful, very practical information, thank you so much, we have to watch it many times to really internalize all the great tips you are giving!!! It would be nice to have like a pdf file on your blog so we could print it, study and use it. You give such a comprehensive guidebook that really helps understand the essence of our own style and how to build it !!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Josie, I am so inspired by your productivity. You are so hard working and come up with such great content! I will be honest, I don't share the same style as you, but I absolutely love your style for you. I love watching your videos because they inspire me to work harder and be as up beat as you are! Truly inspirational. You work form so many angles and view points and are very wary of opinions and ethical matters. Congratulations on building an amazing brand and don't ever stop!
Amazing tips Josie! My style is very similar to yours in so far as I only buy classic pieces and look for elevated quality. Now that I’m almost in my mid 30s, trend pieces seem to be harder to buy because I know they won’t last. I love the idea of a moodboard or taking a snapshot of a few go-to outfits!! I personally struggle getting dressed in the morning for work, so thanks for the tip! Xoxo Alix
Thank you so much. This is the motivation I needed.. already got rid of an item! Really love the detail in all your videos and your style is so nice and classy. As I’m getting older (32) I feel like I really need to move away from the younger look and get more feminine pieces. I think a new classic trench is on the cards. Thank you so much. Ps would love for you to come and be my personal shopper for the day. Xxx
I found my personal style thanks to you. I have always lacked confidence and never felt pretty , always wanted to look like someone else... All that has changed and I know my own value and thanks to you I feel put together and nice knowing I am true to myself. And I am not afraid to walk around in pink if I feel like it❤️
I love your style, you and your wardrobe are very inspirational. My favourite colour is blue and I would to introduce more pale, cornflower, periwinkle and pigeon blues but I always get stuck with whatI could pair in with, would love more nice neutrals, particularly whites and creams in my wardrobe too
please make a vídeo with your current make-up and product colors! one also - come shoping with me but shops like reiss, monica vinader, club monaco, ted ... the ones you think are better ... please !!! if you want to buy a bigger Bay for work which one do you like the most ?? I also love to watch videos when you go whalk in London, get your hair done ... nails ... meetings ... a little off your day ... snacks with friends or with your mother
I believe we have the same style......feminine, elegant and I love neutrals but also very colorful pieces but the essentials are all neutral.....thank you for your inspiration and great video content.....hope you feel better soon
Love ❤️ this. Have always said it’s important to be well groomed. I think my style is feminine too but I do wear dark colours in Winter. Your style is flawless 💕
I remember coming across your video for the very first time. Must have been the one about last year's winter trends. I still remember how I was watching this video and was tempted not to, because you were just so perfect #cantrelate But the tips you shared were simply too good. Now I'm one of your subscribers 😊 I can see what a genuine lady you're. And how passionate you're about serving your community. You make such a big difference with what you do. Please never forget that 😉 and thank you for all you do 💛
I think I've found my Fashion Soul-Mate :) Best advice on the internet! I love your style and have been fighting copying it - cause it's not mine. But instead I'm working on inserting overall comfort, femininity and quality in mine. Love
I have found my personal style and it’s a feminine bohemian style. I love the flowy dress long or short and not too much into pants and not jeans; just occasionally. My style works great in the Summer and spring esp the tulle skirt! I’m enjoying the fall edits and can’t wait for the winters edits!
I'm 15 and I have quite a girly style but one of the only retailers I can afford is primark I dont have any kind of money coming in to save so it can be difficult to afford good quality pieces even from places like river island or Topshop still love your content and try to apply these rules wear possible
You should totally go back to her older videos because she used to make tons of content on how to find items for a low budget that look really nice and timeless!
Don't be afraid to look at second hand shops. Classics are usually fairly easy to find. Stick to shapes that suit you, colors that suit you and make sure that they are a good fit.
I find really good pieces at second hand stores. It takes time to find what you are looking for but I have found it has been totally worth looking tru and you find out what second hand store works for you.
Hi Josie as a 65 year old lady I have always loved clothes, and always hope are well dressed, however thanks to you I now know what to look for and key pieces to home in on and buy, and like you say "buy well" and they will last for a long time. I like to feel I'm saving the planet for my grand children, so I now find all those lovely pieces people decided they had to have, but never wear and then send to charity, yes I'm a charity shopper, I have Reiss and many more top quality brands in my collection. I never buy unless it's perfect for my style. I'm not ashamed of this affliction, but I embrace it and never lie when people say you look so elegant where did you buy your coat, shoes or dress, I always say what charity shop I purchased it from, they are far more embraced than I could ever be for saving the planet (by the way I never like to pay more than £1) so my price per wear is only pence, then I re-donate to charity. Thanks again Josie love your style and I'll keep viewing to see what I can look for when I next pass a charity shop take care
Thank you so much for great advice Josie :) Have you heard of the 333 challenge? I'd be interested to see what you'd choose for it, even though I understand it might not be for everyone!
After this video I literally took all the clothes out of my wardrobe and the colours I had most was brown , white , black and a few pops of colours but with every item the sleeves were either flared embellished or had something going on lol I found out what my style is thanks to your tips xx I also decluttered my little brothers and sisters wardrobes as well lol
Unfortunately latin america has a currency that makes it almost impossible to get even river island clothes so I was wondering if you would consider making a video on coats and sweaters from brands like shein or other affordable brands. (You can include handbags and shoes if you want!) Anyway. Thank you. Your videos are VERY helpful!
Love love love the vídeo!!! 👍👍👍 It was very interesting and useful !! and I absolutely agree with everything you said !!! thank you for the work you do !!! I still say that besides being an excellent professional you should also be an excellent person who you like very easily ❤️❤️❤️ I'm a bank director but I also love fashion and it's something that distracts me and makes me well !!! I love to see beautiful and quality pieces! I really have a lot of things that I don't see and use because with the stress of leaving home early I don't have the patience to think about what is good and I usually use the same suitcase and clothes ... I'll try to take the pictures as you said .. love you! Big kiss from Portugal
Love a jumper dress but at a £225 I would expect at least some wool if not 100%.Reiss is retailing this plastic jumper dress at a ridiculous price of £225(288 US dollars) Composition - 57% Viscose 26% Polyester 14% Nylon 3% Elastane. Josie , watching your videos last year you were advising us to buy quality, this looks gorgeous but very poor quality. Most of Reiss’s dresses are polyester, I love the style but the quality is equivalent to a £39 dress from M&S.
Thank you for helping us with finding our style!!! ❤️ ( when I'm wearing my all white outfit my 17 years old daughter says " very Josie " 👌) Love you darling!!
I’m feminine during summer (I wear colorful midi dresses everyday) edgy/casual during spring and fall (jeans, T-shirt and leather jacket), classic during winter (classic wool jumpers and A line skirts, jeans, classic jackets/coats): how can I determine my style if it changes trough the seasons? ;) I know I love colors and feminine silhouettes (midi, A-line, etc.) but I do enjoy sneakers and biker jackets when the weather is appropriate for it 🤔 Anyway, thanks Josie for the daily inspo, I watch all your videos, you have truly inspired me to dress more like a lady 😍
Dear Josie. I would recommend you a danish brand called Rosemunde. It is very feminine, high quality and always made of pure silk or cashmere, like you prefer it. Have a look and please tell me what you think. I bought a lot of silk cami's and their cashmere cardigans.
I have a suggestion if you don’t mind! :) would you do a video on favorite autumn/winter dupes that includes jewelry? And the other one.. would you give ideas on how to look stylish AT HOME? (For stay at home moms. Include nice pajamas please! Thanks! 😅)
Fashion Mumblr many of your links redirect to a broad search instead of an actual product. This can be fixed by opening the product in a new tab instead of a pop up window and then copy that link. I love your style but I have the hardest time finding the products sometimes 😅. If you could do this, that would be amazing! Thanks!!
Thank you for mentioning applying your style to the environment your in. I live in rural US where the female uniform of “dressed up” is basically a burgundy sweater, black leggings and Ugg’s 😭 I DEFINITELY water down my style in my environment and I still get called out for being “snobby” and “trying too hard” 🙈😂
L oved your video gave a lot to think about. You mentioned of a person who does not work as l am because l have to look after my kids. What would be your thinking on a person like me to still look good and feel good and not reach for sweat pants and sweat shirt everyday.
I love your videos and your style! How do you continue to come up with new content week after week? I love fashion and have been wanting to start a fashion blog, but any time I think of a topic to write about I feel like other bloggers/influencers have covered the same topic multiple times so I don't want to feel like I'm just copying off of them. I was also wondering, I know you continue to mention to buy quality and invest in key pieces (I'm not by any means saying that's not a good idea), but do you have any high street pieces that have lasted in your wardrobe for years. I don't really have the funds right now to really invest in much, but going through my wardrobe I've noticed that I have a fair amount of pieces that I've only spent $30-40 on and they are 4, 5, 6, even 10 years old and still look at least relatively new. One last thing (sorry I know this is longer than most comments), but I was wondering if I click on one of your links for a clothing item I like but I go to the US version of the store to buy the item, do you still get credit (money back) for influencing my purchase or does it mess that up when I switch to the US version of the website? Thanks 🙂
Ah I just have so many ideas!! And yes I have lots of lovely pieces from the likes of Topshop etc that last years too :) Oh, and sometimes the link automatically changes so yes, thank you for asking!
I’m so sorry to be annoying 😂 I would like to suggest something. Sometimes you add SIMILAR links to products you are showing because the ones you are showing are no longer in stock but it is still very useful to know which exact product it was because sometimes other store carries it or someone is selling it on poshmark. For example I looked and looked for a river island trench coat that you were showing but was out of stock and got it for 19 U$ on an online thrift store! 😱 Anyway. The summary is to please post the original link as well even if is out of stock or at least mention the brand :) Thank you so much! I’m really learning and love your channel! :)
Josie please can I pay you to come sort out my wardrobe and style. I'm 32, back living with parents in a box room after a 12 year relationship and having a crisis. I'm lost with it at the moment. I can't put outfits together but seem to love all the pieces iv got x
WE NEED A STYLE EVOLUTION VIDEO PLEASE!!!!!!!!! would love that so much! you haven't changed too much but then again, you have. you know? what's your mindset? :) I just watched inthefrow's style evolution video and loved it! your turn!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! 💘I didn’t know if I should message you here or on Twitter but I love your style and since we have the same height you’re such an inspiration to me💘I love to wear midi skirts, nude colors and basically everything classic and feminine but at the same time I feel like I have a... a bit more edgy style as well, like I love to wear leather jackets, blue jeans and dark colors. I always feel a bit unsatisfied when I’m wearing blue jeans and a leather jacket and wish I was wearing something more feminine but then when I’m wearing something classy and feminine I fell great but still wish I was wearing something more casual... do you know what I mean, do you have any tips? I love both of those styles but they’re so different and I don’t know how to find a balance... love from Austria and keep up your great work 💋
Josie ❇️ Darling this could be a series! Visual aids (pictures)... A trek through Pinterest/liketoknowit... I imagine those who are following that are 'virgins' so to speak🌷Not necessarily youngsters, just new to the journey would appreciate more... Even though I'm not new to the fashion game, you keep my eye fresh & our sensibilities are similar 🤗 I don't know of any women my age who own as much pink as I do... Long before the 'Renaissance' it's been experiencing 💗🌺🌸🍥🍨🍭
No one else I know has this style, so I feel truly unique here in my little Sarasota, Florida.
janacabana1 oh this is so amazing to hear thank you so much!

janacabana1 This is fantastic and I hope you are having so much fun!
Good for you! This made me smile because my mum turns 70 next year and she still loves to look young and vibrant :)
I would love to see a series where you style some other people. I love your style but it's not easy for me to wear because it's very feminine and delicate... I wouldn't say I have the body type that carries this very well.
Lexi H agree!
That'a an excellent idea! 😁
Oh too many to choose, I love all my clothes!!!
Josie you are always So Classy! An idea...perhaps a Holiday tour of London? The black friday shopping video you did last year was fun!
@@KoriEmerson I'll give it a try, thank you 💖😁
I found my style 2 years ago thanks to you!!!! Quality and light colors. Thank you again. You are the best!!!!!
Kori Emerson agreed!! I’m just a UK 8-10 but have broad shoulders. She should do a body type series with feminine style.
Absolutely! Broad shoulders and bust really can't deal with a lot of clothes showed by influencers, e.g. chunky roll necks.
yep that’s my problem! I’m a uk size 18/20 and I can’t find anyone with this style that is my size and it’s hard to imagine clothes on me when my only inspiration is girls who are a size 8 :(
I agree , I’m a size 12-14 UK and I love Josie’e style however I find that some of the styles are not suitable for my body type
I would love to see you Josie styling larger sizes just to see how would that work.
Can u make a video on how to dress feminine or how to wear skirts? My style is almost similar to yours but it's just that I need some tips or motivation on how to put together these outfits so that they don't look overdressed
Love this request, me too! A video on being feminine would be lovely!
Josie's look is a bit over dressed because she models a lot of clothing and because she loves the look. I think that if you love this look and want to dial it down then use fewer or less fancy accessories and embellishments.
@@merry6117 yes i have to play with different outfit ideas and come up with what suits me.. thanks for the tip 🙂
The backward hanger trick works really well!
Glenda Gibson that’s amazing to hear!
Ah I am so happy to hear this thank you!
I wear nothing but midis!!!! I just love the flow, and the movement! Love the florals especially. They just look so ladylike.
*who else always gets so inspired by her videos?* 💓😇🥰
x from another youtuber💞
I just looked at your channel and honestly its amazing. Already subscribed. Can't wait for the next video.
meeee!
Xxx
Your last bonus tip was my favorite! So important and inspirational! 💕💕💕
I love your idea of turning the hangers the other way to keep track of what you actually wear - I am going to try it! Thanks Josie! x
I found my personal style thanks to you. I have always lacked confidence and never felt pretty , always wanted to look like someone else... All that has changed and I know my own value and thanks to you I feel put together and nice knowing I am true to myself. And I am not afraid to walk around in pink if I feel like it❤️
Oh I love this so much!
I’d love to see a top ten least used/worn items in your wardrobe!
I still remember how I was watching this video and was tempted not to, because you were just so perfect #cantrelate
But the tips you shared were simply too good.
Love
Love your wise philosophy at the end Josie ❤️ I couldn’t agree more xxx
Thanks again Josie love your style and I'll keep viewing to see what I can look for when I next pass a charity shop take care
mandy wolverson oh I am so so beyond pleased to hear this thank you!
I would love to see a video on how to dress in a feminine way in the country
Thank you so much for great advice Josie :)
Have you heard of the 333 challenge? I'd be interested to see what you'd choose for it, even though I understand it might not be for everyone!
As always, love these tips. Classic always works for me. Thanks for all your vids Josie! 💫💕
I’ve been so excited for this video! My lifelong question! 😍 now back to the video:)
I love all of your videos! You are so helpful and classy!
You're my inspiration! Love your elegant and feminine style and I always get ideas from your outfits:)
Never been this early.
Love your videos Josie. Continue to inspire us. Love you🌸
Thanks for the inspiration again, feel like working on this on the weekend 💪
After this video I literally took all the clothes out of my wardrobe and the colours I had most was brown , white , black and a few pops of colours but with every item the sleeves were either flared embellished or had something going on lol I found out what my style is thanks to your tips xx I also decluttered my little brothers and sisters wardrobes as well lol
I absolutely love the hanger tip ✨
Loved the Tips Josie!! I'll Definitely Use Them Love Your Style You Are an Inspiration To Me!! Thank You For a Wonderful Video as Always!!!
Great tips. Love your style.
What a great video with many useful tips! I’ll have to rewatch it later - too jet lag to concentrate and remember this later.
Love these kinds of videos from you and loved the end note too.
Unfortunately latin america has a currency that makes it almost impossible to get even river island clothes so I was wondering if you would consider making a video on coats and sweaters from brands like shein or other affordable brands. (You can include handbags and shoes if you want!)
Anyway. Thank you.
Your videos are VERY helpful!
I discovered that my style is colourful but structured.
I hope you get to 1 million subscribers❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I will try to pass on your channel to as many people as possible
Such great tips!💕 Always so helpful, thank you for sharing them!✨
Love a jumper dress but at a £225 I would expect at least some wool if not 100%.Reiss is retailing this plastic jumper dress at a ridiculous price of £225(288 US dollars) Composition - 57% Viscose 26% Polyester 14% Nylon 3% Elastane. Josie , watching your videos last year you were advising us to buy quality, this looks gorgeous but very poor quality. Most of Reiss’s dresses are polyester, I love the style but the quality is equivalent to a £39 dress from M&S.
Woollen skirt ( more like wool less 😅£145 ) Composition - 57% Viscose 26% Polyester 14% Nylon 3% Elastane
Thank you for helping us with finding our style!!! ❤️
( when I'm wearing my all white outfit my 17 years old daughter says " very Josie " 👌)
Love you darling!!
👏👏👏😃😊. What an excellent video! Really well done! 👍😉
Thank you Josie this video was very helpful .😊
your videos and content are always so beautiful and well put together!
Dear Josie. I would recommend you a danish brand called Rosemunde. It is very feminine, high quality and always made of pure silk or cashmere, like you prefer it. Have a look and please tell me what you think. I bought a lot of silk cami's and their cashmere cardigans.
Josie (or if anyone knows), what is the jumper dress on 14:29 min?
I love your style. I do wish I am slimmer like you hehehe Thanks for for sharing! 👍🏼❤️
I have a suggestion if you don’t mind! :)
would you do a video on favorite autumn/winter dupes that includes jewelry?
And the other one.. would you give ideas on how to look stylish AT HOME? (For stay at home moms. Include nice pajamas please! Thanks! 😅)
Ooh check out the latest post on my blog for loungewear! www.fashionmumblr.com xxx
Fashion Mumblr thanks! I will!
Fashion Mumblr many of your links redirect to a broad search instead of an actual product. This can be fixed by opening the product in a new tab instead of a pop up window and then copy that link. I love your style but I have the hardest time finding the products sometimes 😅. If you could do this, that would be amazing! Thanks!!
I always like your videos before I watch 😂💗
You will get to your goals Josie, wondering what you will be gifting yourself?
Can you do a video on waist belts? I'm 35-25-37 so finding the right waist belt for me is challenges because they're all so big.
I’m so sorry to be annoying 😂
I would like to suggest something.
Anyway. The summary is to please post the original link as well even if is out of stock or at least mention the brand :)
Thank you so much!
I’m really learning and love your channel! :)
Nice one!
Josie please can I pay you to come sort out my wardrobe and style. I'm 32, back living with parents in a box room after a 12 year relationship and having a crisis. I'm lost with it at the moment. I can't put outfits together but seem to love all the pieces iv got x
can't wait to get home and watch ♡♡♡
Amazing Tips, Josie.
WE NEED A STYLE EVOLUTION VIDEO PLEASE!!!!!!!!! would love that so much! you haven't changed too much but then again, you have. you know? what's your mindset? :) I just watched inthefrow's style evolution video and loved it! your turn!
I always love your style💕😘
Really enjoyed this video. good suggestions :)
Lovely as always 🌷🌷 🌷
I love both of those styles but they’re so different and I don’t know how to find a balance... love from Austria and keep up your great work 💋
Thank you, « exceptional and precious Josie » 🥰 ✨ 🌸 💕
I love your style Josie.... Sometimes I try to copy your styles... Ur my inspiration.... love you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️❤️
Long before the 'Renaissance' it's been experiencing 💗🌺🌸🍥🍨🍭
susan johnson hehe love that idea!
