Love your tutorials, Craig!!! This stitch is wonderful and your hints about chaining three or four after the row is great!! I can do that!! Thank you for sharing your crochet savvy with us!! 💕😊
Lovely stitch! One of my favorite flowers, but an annual in my neck of the woods. I think I can make a blanket and scarf from these instructions, but one of your beautiful shawl tutorials using this stitch would put the icing on the cake!!! I know you're crazy busy doing what you do for us, and I appreciate your time and work. But if you get the chance...😉☺😉
Thank you so much I love all your videos and I’m waiting for videos I asked you before like knitting a sweater for women’s and for men’s please thank you again
Can this be done in the round or in a granny square method? Would love to try this stitch on the shopping bag pattern but can't see it. Any chance for a video on it if it's possible?
Hello, I don't recall which video I asked you a question about your crochet hooks, so I'll ask it again. Where do you get the tapered edge hooks from? I really love them.
I do believe those are Boye hooks. They have the tapered neck on the hooks. I find mine locally at WalMart, Joann's and Michaels. Amazon also carries a good variety of different styles and brands of crochet hooks. Just bought a set from there in fact. Should have them on Monday :)
I think he uses the same hooks that I use, which, like Barb Sanderson says, are Boye, and you can find them at pretty much any store that sells yarn and such... mine came from wal-mart and jo-annes for example. I bought them because I love how they come in different colors, and they're usually quite affordable, about $2 each
yup i believe they are Boye also... but let me ask since Barb Sanderson just bout some are they a lot lighter these days? i just bought some new hooks the other day at Walmart and i swear they are lighter and well just not the same quality as i have always come to expect from Boye
ETA: hooks arrived today, so far the aluminum ones look pretty much like the Boye's I already have - this is a backup set and also has some sizes I didn't have. So far, so good! I had to slow down the video and pause it, just to be able to read the name on the hook! LOL The ones I bought on Amazon weren't specifically Boye hooks, but I do have to agree that since I've had to replace a few over the years, they are not quite the same quality as the ones I grew up using. Different countries of origin/manufacture makes a difference in the quality I have to say. Some are fine, some are not - will let you know the quality on the ones I ordered from Amazon as soon as they arrive :)
