Thank you so so much 👍 I have tried for years to understand what meditation is and how to do it. I now believe that evan most teachers either dont know themselves what meditation truely is or they like to keep the toppic under a cloud of mistery…mabe they think it makes them more interesting. Thank you forever Yongey Mingur Rinpoche for explaining meditation simply, deeply and profoundly life changing, because after more than 20 years of searching i now understand what it is ❤️🤗😘

Oh Rimpoche! Im so glad to see you at the Library! I studied there with Geshe Dargey and Geshe Rabten from 1974-1980. Im so delighted to see a whole new generation of students from all over the world. Thank you so much for being willing to teach us! I was 25 then, Im 74 now! The lamas gave me the most valuable helps for my life. I hope everyone finds the joy I did. I have been able to get thru all the troubles of my life with the teachings I received then without getting into too much trouble! LOL!

He pointed out the key elements of a right meditation. Most teachers tell you to focus on your object too hard so you get headache as a result. Relax is the key and let things be as they are. Good learning for me.

I alys blame the situation whenever I get panic attack. Now i do it no more. Beacause I realized dat situation is not the one to cause panic instead our view of mind does. This understanding came to me after meditating for 10 minutes every day around 5days following method of meditation as explained by Rinpoche. I wish if i cud meet Rinpoche in my life time. Long live Rinpoche

i too had panic attacks !
this is what i did to cure myself
exercise meditation running low sodium & sugar diet good religious book reading before sleeping!
& yes the mind is the cause not the situation
& the physical nature like weak nervous system must also be strengthened

The purpose of meditation at the very beginning , for Buddhist followers, is to be aware of every thought that will appear within our mind in every second, in our daily life... So when evil thought and or good thought arise we are able to recognize them and choose and follow according to the Buddha Teaching, The six Paramitas... So when meditating let the minds wonder and recognize them durring meditating... u can say to yourself that " ok.... my mind are now picturing , the what ever thought that it appear on yours...." . if you are get used to meditate you will be able to recognize the minds and u can also able to recognize your own character so that you dont fall in to the wrong doing...
