@@QueenKayKay47 I thought the same thing! If they couldn’t be thoughtful enough to slam the doors of the car shut behind them, I wondered about that poor taxi drivers tip or “lack thereof”, myself!
The Captain was making announcements about communicating with port authorities. He just wanted us to mess with them about it. All in fun! I think the taxi driver was the star. I was looking for him the last time I went. No luck.
Indeed he will. I posted another video where two rickshaw drivers brought some late comers... one was counting his money while leaving! I thought that was so funny!
I have probably the best pier running story ever. A couple years ago, while on a Caribbean cruise, we had stopped in St Thomas. I fell asleep on the beach and missed my taxi back to the pier . As I ran back to the dock, I could see my ship in the distance already halfway to St.Martin.. Instead of giving up, I sped up, and with all my might leapt from the pier. I was able to estimate just right and landed in the pool of my cruise ship. It was all caught on video, which I'll upload shortly.
I hadn't noticed that but if it is the case it is probably because the vendors are so aggressive. They will not take "NO" for an answer. My opinion. IDK
Good point. I don't usually get off at the ports. I have a fear of not making it back to the ship. Next cruise I will watch and see if there is a trend, would be interesting to see if that is the case. Have you cruised before?
Darn well better have included a hefty tip for the taxi driver!
I hope so too. I think the taxi driver loved the attention.
Look at them. I doubt it!

That's why he was so happy
I was on deck 4 watching the whole thing : )
Hi! It was so fun!
There are people that look forward to see the late ones left behind, they get kicks out of that. They are ready with their cameras......LOL
Aw man! They were cutting it close! I hope they tipped the taxi lol

It would appear that about 90% of late comers are women. Wonder why.

@@audreyamanda It could well be the case, coupled with the fact women are more prone to shopping than men.
@@michaelyates5976 maybe so.
Lol
@@audreyamanda I imagine many men would choose to stay on board sooner than spend time shopping with their wives. Similar to how they are at home.
