thanks this is exactly what I have on my 1 year old greenworks pressure washer - the ball was stuck obvi in sticky soap residue - used a paper clip to push the stuck ball out...rinsed the fitting, o-ring, spring and ball in a hot water vinegar solution and that did the trick! thanks again!!!
I wanted to add that I just received the replacement chemical soap injection kit off Amazon for this down stream part. And it has a small o ring that goes in and seats at the base of the brass nipple before the bearing is added. It was hard to get the o ring in, so I put the o ring in and put the BB on top and pushed in with thumb to start, remove BB and push in with a small diameter round plastic rod. A dab of dish soap might help, the o ring wanted to twist. Something the perfect diameter is best.
DakotaBusy thanks my man... I took my pressure washer out of the garden shed to do some cleanup after the winter..sure enough it wouldn't draw cleaner.. watched your video, found the gunk.. works like a charm! Thanks again, great instructional video!
If you take off the connector and it's mucked up with dried soap/bleach crystals the spring will likely be stuck. You have to pick the area clean with a small drill bit until you can get the spring out without mangling it. Once you get the spring out if it's a little out of shape you can bring it back to shape with needle nose pliers. In the pressure housing there is a hole about 1/16" through the center. That is likely clogged as well. You can pick on it to open it but you can also hook up the pressure washer and with the soap tip let it run and blow the hole clean. When you reassemble the ball bearing and spring it's critical that the spring push against the ball bearing and not off to the side. I put a touch of grease on the bearing, put it in the hose fitting, then put the spring on the bearing both held with the grease. Alignment is perfect that way. The grease will wash through with soap.
Thanks for the video I needed to know the orientation of the spring/rubbers/ball bearing because mine had sheared in half and I hadn't seen how they went togeher
I'm getting water BACKFLOW into my soap bottle on my small electric pressure washer. I don't get it. The water pressure from the hose is running INTO the bottle and over flowing bottle. What's going on here and how do I fix it? It's been doing great for 4 years.
Thanks so much! I couldn’t get mine to syphon soap. My model took a 13mm socket. (Note to self for next time, turn off the water! Lucky I found all the bits…)
what is the name of the part you took off? mine corroded and literally broke in half (the bolt part is stuck inside). I don't want to buy a whole new pressure washer. I cannot find the part on the diagrams online.
How please? This pin hole under the spring is clogged solid for me. Have tried a needle and cleaners just to clear it but maybe I need to take it out if I understand you.
@@Shanexxl If it's that solid then maybe an overnight soak in carb cleaner? Mine was plugged but not solid. Break off the needle and try to chuck it in a drill? Good luck
The FIRST thing you do if you have been running the pressure washer - turn OFF the hose, and squeeze the handle to take the pressure off!!! i had one blow up in my face.
I have an old Ryobi 2000 and it has this connection. The pressure washer given to me. But when I connect a tube it does not draw soap out of bottle. Is there another switch?
Wish I saw this video at :47 before undoing it to clean. Lost the spring and ball bearing and now water shoots out of the port full time. Any idea where to replace that? Have looked online but not seeing it - probably not calling it by the right name. Thanks.
My hose burst off and the screw broke off half way in the machine. A friend drilled it out but I’m assuming I need multiple replacement parts. Help! Can send pics for reference.
I'm sorry you are having issues. ereplacementparts.com can be a good resource to find parts or just part numbers. They don't always have things in stock as they may be discontinued but you may be able to find them else where. www.ereplacementparts.com/ryobi-ry14122-pressure-washer-parts-c-7931_15737_281665.html Best of luck!
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! This video was really helpful. But unfortunately I over tightened and broke the threaded end of nipple inside of it. I am going to have to replace the price it goes in to now also. My fault. Just a heads up. I should have known. It's brass for crying out loud. A lot softer than steel, but better for corrosion.

Jan Lundberg is it the black one that let the water comes out as round? Cuz I borrowed one & I can’t see any soap even thought I cleaned that & I turned the water & it was coming out hard.
The black soap tip should be the same size as the normal tips. The bigger black attachment that makes the water come out in a pulsating cone is not a soap tip, it’s a rotating turbo nozzle.
5 years in and you are still helping people. Just cleaned the valve and put new washers in and works like a charm now. Thanks!

This worked on my greenworks that I thought was done for. Thank you for posting this video!

Detailed and still short. Thank you!

The ball blocks it. See if you have the ball

Soap Injector Kit
Beyond the spring is also a nozzle with about a 1/16" hole that you can slip out and clean.

Me too and it broke the thread I was pissed and it’s still not working somehow

Make sure you are using the black soap tip. The lower pressure tip allows the soap to be sucked out of the tank.

Only thing is mine has no larger and smaller spring, it looks like a short pen spring.
How can dos to add some more oil
Do you have any idea why my Ryobi 2000 psi pressure doesn't stop when I realese the gun??? I already change the Gun
Do you know where I can buy this part
Amazon 2 pack $7

Could I plug that and add a different downstream injector?
Yeah. You could use a foam cannon. I have one and it’s awesome!
@@DakotaBusy thanks
I use a Q-Tip to clean out.

@Rich Hoops would an EZ-out work to extract the end?
I dont use the soap dispenser can i block it off?
I don’t see why not.
I snapped that piece that attaches to the hose by over-tightening. Any idea what part name and number that is? really would appreciate the help.

Que pasa si le clapsuro esa salida sigue trabajando.
My ryobi pressure washer is new and it won't dispense the soap for some reason
Make sure you are using the black tip. It will only come out with a low pressure nozzle.
Is that why i cant get any cleaner 2 come out any more. I need 2 clean that out???
I would start there. I hope you can get it going again!
My soap is not ejecting from soap dispenser what is my problem?
Make sure you are using the black soap tip, not a high pressure tip. Check for clogs at the dispenser.
Does anyone know what size it is
Mine is brand new. No soap. Now what?
What tip are you using? There is a tip just for soap. It comes out really low pressure
It was the tip! I'm all set. Thanks

Como aderir aceite
Thats what happens if you Dont dilute it a little with water
Dude, go see your doctor. Your nails are very white, you may have something serious going on. Great video otherwise.
