its not good practice to use only images... most clients will block images. Images should be complimentary

Hi! Great video- but I was wondering how to make a great email template for my client's Typeform (she has a bunch of lead magnets, with no typeforms set up 😅). So rather than a sales email (which was great- learned a lot!), I need to create something with links to appointments, and PDFs of a free checklist for the lead magnet, plus an email response to the new person. I have Canva Pro, and am not a total newbie- but still learning. I was wondering if I add the links into the Canva design with some buttons over the URL, and I download as a PNG and upload into the Typeform, does that make the URL disappear? I feel a little in over my head. Thanks for your help! -Meghan

Hi, its very helpful, but in mailchimp an image does not work as a cta, there are buttons that you add which acts as a link to another website or a pdf. Right? so how can I upload the canva image and activate that button within the image?
Do you have suggestions on how this design could be more accessible, for example what about people who rely on screen readers? The image format is really only accessible to those with vision and those who know the language.

Why not use a html builder? Much quicker and more design features. Plus better for deliverability.

Most likely. Emails like this that are all or mostly images usually end up in promotion or spam. Emails with higher text to image ratios perform better.

some emails with pure texts only get into my promotion tab.
some emails with a lot of images get into my primary tab.

The first question I have when you said "call to action button" was, How do you make it clickable? Do you use a hyperlink? And you mentioned Klaviyo without giving context. Lol. What is Klaviyo?
klaviyo is just the email platform we use - depending on the platform you can link it to image.

I would not recommend making the whole template as an image, because images often get blocked by ESPs. Instead of this, I recommend using an HTML template.
thats true - this is just a beginners tutorial. Coding is too complex and expensive for beginners.
What would you recommend doing instead?
@@zibaburrow2476 I would recommend using an HTML email builder to build text and buttons and keep Canva for images only. that way if an ESP blocked the images for any reason, the user can still understand the content of that email. (If you're using Klaviyo or similar services, they already have an HTML email builder integrated).

This is no way the right way to build an email template. You need to create it via an html template builder, with an image and text hybrid. If you create something like this, you'll get blocked and sent into spam folder. Nice design vision though, liked.
