This is energizing, uplifting, and chromatically correct… Green comes before blue in the rainbow: red orange yellow, green, cyan blue, blue, Violet. @@HarmonyHouseArt Can you give this a try. a canvas, Carousel over a larger canvas. There you get to spin it and catch the dripping onto the lower larger canvas. Then you can spin or blow whats there.

I love your art and really sipped the time you devote to teach us. I want to try this, but i really don't like cells. Can I thin the pain with water or something other than Floetral without messing up the paint?
Thank you! A better option than water would be an acrylic pouring medium like liquitex. Water can be tried in small amounts but may lead to cracking and crazing if overdone.

That first rainbow 🌈 one is just stunning! Switching from swipe to blowout was absolutely the right call! The initial idea was also beautiful but I think the lines between colours were too harsh and took away from the message behind the piece, the cohesion of gender identity and sexuality meaning that regardless of what form it comes in, love is love. The blowout and changing from the separation of the colours to the blending through the rainbow just gave this a soft, ethereal aesthetic and made it truly beautiful, even transcendent. I absolutely love it! Do you sell prints of your artwork? (particularly this one!)

These are all so beautiful.
Can I ask, which is the more cost-effective way to do fluid art; mixing acrylic paints and pouring medium of choice, or mixing the pouring medium with mica powders? What are the pros and cons of each, and what are your favourite tips/tricks/advice for each to keep things as low cost as possible while I am learning the different techniques?
Thank you! I've never done a cost analysis but would guess that paint is more cost effective because you don't have to use a pouring medium with the paints like you do with pigments. The tube paints have good binders in them so all you really need is a little water. Most of us like to add Floetrol and pouring medium but we've all done paint and water pours that were lovely! ❤️❤️❤️
