I'm not an expert in theatrics but I can say with some authority. Dont be sad I've sampled mrs fosters music, and as it is, most of what she sings is poetry in the form of religious song.death comes comes a knockin is for me .the best that gets. Dont stop living, and do stop too listen, keeps u in balance an conected.good luck
OOOOO Ruthie- You're stirring my soul! Amazing with the full band and that brass! I just recently heard you sing this solo and it was just as powerful! Amen and thanks for the blessing that is YOU.
I love you, your music and message so much ..crying sometimes for happines ...or moving and swinging hips.. I saw you in Lahnstein 37.blues Festival..great.. Also a Photograph with you ..❤❤❤🎉🎉 Cheers from Germany Yours sincerley Eric Kochheim
I think I was at this show. It was a couple years ago? Who was the guitar player - once I got over being blown away by Ruthie I thought he was damn good too.
It’s disrespectful to claim this song like you wrote when my grandfather wrote this song and we have his record. Give the brown singers their credit as inspiration and song writers, you left the last verse out witch was way better by the way. The beats off and sadly has passed. It’s heart breaking had he seen this. But we will upload his record as a singer and song writer and a genuine humble man of God. We have a big family. You’re making money off his song without permission. You will answer for this. Not Godly at all. He was born in the 20s so let’s see who is the original writer? I wish I could upload these pictures of proof but your day is coming when you’ve heard that song before. He’s been all over the world singing it. I’m so sick you’re posting, getting views, likes and money without including the actual writer and singer and mail his money. Have some integrity.
I wish I'd discovered Ruthie Foster before I was 70, but there you go. Better late than never.
Same here.

You do not have a soul if this doesn't get you moving.

Calm those tatas
Is there is a way you can contact her and tell her? Your grandpa deserves to be recognized.
the guitarist played an unintelligible solo with a lot of left notes, not getting into the rhythm. I think it's time for him to retire)
😂
