I carry two phones. My main phone and the one I like better is Samsung phone:I like Dex, multitasking, link to windows, ect. Apple for my family and some apps just work better but I hate how Apple nickel and dimes you on specs: it took forever for them to move the base storage to 128GB.

I am keeping my Samsung S23 Ultra and let the S24 Ultra mature into the S25 Ultra or possibly wait until an S27 Ultra. The only time I'm going to use an iPhone is when the company I work for gives me one. In a couple of weeks. I chose the iPhone 13 only for its Wireless vs the company offering only a mid-tier Samsung A45 5G that doesn't have wireless charging. 😑

The 15 Pro Max was my first iPhone. It was a lot of little things with iOS that were deal breakers. I didn't see the hype with it. I was surprised to see that apps didn't run as smooth. Certain things were just half baked. Picked up the S24 Ultra as soon as it was available.

Huawei p30 pro was the best phone that pack every useful features. And Samsung copied all their features after they got slammed by us market. I compared the camera with my note 20 ultra and my friends 14 pro max. P30 pro still better. Buy bad selfie though 🤪

I made the move from android to iPhone. I’ve been a lifelong android user because iPhones were harder to obtain on my service provider, but I finally made the job and what I really like about iPhone is I get updates directly from Apple while on Galaxy phones if purchased from the carrier, the update would have to go directly to the carrier for them to approve the update and I noticed there’s more support for Apple then, iPhone and I are more refined on iPhone. I can understand when there is different variance of android OS and hardware out there. It’s hard to make up work for all the androids with this is not a problem.

I always used my phone for music and the apps and uploading and third-party music apps and players were getting annoying for me. Plus, text messaging. I can be a gif/meme sender in convo. I got tired of having to upload, gifs/memes not going through the same for files. That was the icing on the cake for me. On top of that, I used to be an Android user who always had something bad to say about iPhones. I agree it comes down to taste. At the same time, I believe Android users are afraid to switch and feel left out because society as a whole does focus on iPhones and Apple products. I a computer savvy, but I believe we should not have to go through CPU tech just to send messages and listen to specific music. This includes WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Why do I have to go the extra mile to text and send files because Android cannot allow quality files and connection upload and why blame iPhone because I can send a PDF file without it always being flagged as too large? 🤷🏾‍♂️ sorry this is long… but has to say this 😂 my best friend is an Android user still and I swear he really thinks the iPhone is the worst phone made… to the point Android users are pissing me off all because they are left out 😂😂

Damn! You hit the jackpot, bro, when you said that people decide because it resonates with them personally. My wife likes a certain device because of the colour, the camera result (if it is clear or not), and lastly, the battery performance. She does not care about the latest and greatest, nor if it is powerful or not, as long as it checks her "likes" it's a good phone for her.
Either what phone you get, as long as you like it and perform your daily tasks, it is a good one. Don't follow the trend of getting the expensive and talked about phone, be practical and be reasonable. Peace and keep safe, everyone.

I was expecting that I'd be extremely confused while using it, setting it up and all that stuff, however it was fairly easy to move and it's been a good experience. Battery life is pretty nice, my last charge lasted 40h of use without a charger, apps are really smooth and I'm happy to have it, my whole family (my father and my mother) recently switched to iPhones too so having the same brand all accross is a great thing. I have both phones, Apple and Samsung.
Meaning I have no dog in this fight. I like both.
Iphone lowkey gatekeeps and their faithful consumers more than likely don't realize it because of lack of knowledge or being blind through marketing or loyal to a fault.
Point in case they were forced to go to usb-c by the European Union.
The reason why pictures are butchered and there's still blue bubble, green bubble (imessage). Is because the iPhone(Apple) is still on sms/mms, an older text communication system.
When the updated version is RCS.
RCS is a more seamless communication and better for the user experience.
Apple wants you to think they have a better ecosystem and better user experience by literally waiting to be forced by competitors and the European Union.
All this is to capitalize and lock customers in....
When in all actuality theres pros and cons to everything.
    Do the research.
Samsung has a great ecosystem, if not better.
No one can talk to me bout products if you haven't used it for at least 6 months to a year.
If you have multiple phones, you're gonna go back to what you know before you really give the other one a chance.

Changed from the iPhone 14 pro max to the S24 Ultra when it released and despite appreciating the specs and the customisation, I realised the IOS experience just FEELS better. IOS is far more fluid, far more refined and I can honestly say I've had more crashes and bugs on the S24 ultra than ive had on ALL the iPhones I've had. Android is great for those that will use it to it's fullest, but the downsides for this who won't, far outweigh the positives. Apple’s formula is simple, keep it simple. You can throw all the features that you want at a person, it all comes down to how much they’ll use them. While I can be very particular about my phone, most of the people I know couldn’t care less. They’ll take a basic case, couldn’t care less about a screen protector, just toss their phone without a care in the world. Some of them don’t even know what cable they need to charge it. My wife was confused when she got the 15 and complained that she couldn’t use her old cable. Personally, I’ve come to a point where I couldn’t care less. I keep my wallpaper the same. There are a few things that I do care about battery life, longevity and how well my camera works. iPhone delivers on all of those. I do wear a watch so I’ll add that the Apple watch is by far the best smart watch I’ve tried. It’s even more accurate for things like heart rate measurements than dedicated fitness trackers like Garmin. I have a Garmin and it’s sitting on the table gathering dust.

There will always be a debate, iPhone versus Samsung ,iOS versus android in general. Most iPhone users get a Samsung and love it for six months to a year and then they end up going back to iPhone. There are more android users that make the switch to iPhone and stay on iPhone for good versus iPhone users that go to android and stay on android for good. People say you can do more on an android, I used to say that before I ever got an iPhone. The majority of the population the only thing they use their cell phone for is calling, texting, financial management (pay bills) social media and media consumption (entertainment). Both platforms will do those fine. The iPhone is just simpler to use and has way less glitches and freezes. How many people really do things on their phone on android that iPhone can’t do, how often do you actually do those things?

  • @McSmurfy

I have never used an Apple device and don't think I'll ever do because there's nothing that stands out feature wise that require an Apple device. With Android I can make the phone feel like mine that I own and with Samsung I can't go without the bixby automation anymore, tasks I'd do normally but it's now seemless and also use it for charging - wired/wireless charge to 85% till 1 hour before I wake up. Didn't think I'd need a pen or want one for my phone, but now I like using it and multitasking is great when I watch a video and research something (Samsung also made it so you can save your multitasking windows as favourites so you can just tap it and it auto opens the apps in split screen).
For some iPhone is stable or great ecosystem, but in my line of work and my dad as a programmer, iPhone is the last option to ever use and in my everyday life it would be more a pain to try and go from not too restricting to smothering in restrictions.

I was the same, but now I’m older I just want a phone that works without lag. Think about it, the hardware hasn’t made any big leaps for years. So what’s the real difference between phones? It’s the software simple as that. Also after experiencing face unlock I can never go back just because of that simple reason alone. All my family members moved from android to iPhone. The iCloud automatic backup system for family members is probably the next reason. Also even after 4 years getting all updates the phone still feels like the day I bought it. Bixbi is easily bested by Siri and now with the ChatGPT function coming in I don’t think it’s going to be close. Lifetime android used here that just got old and fedup with the fake reviews on Samsung phones, the s22 was dogshit even though all reviewers praised it over the iPhone. Lesson learned , some videos even showed the lag on the s22 and no one talked about it. I can’t stand lag on a new top tier phone.

if you buy a flagship phone, be that an iPhone or an Android, they will still be 95% the same phone every year, just look at the S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra, apart from small changes they are literally the same, especially when it comes to design, they just look the same, sure if you buy a midrange phone those look different every year, but that is just not a good comparison, because Apple doesn’t made midrange phones, and midrange phone market is different than flagship market

Apple has created a smart 'willful fugitive situation'. It's a clever and profitable marketing strategy (I appreciate it as a marketer) but as a user I despise it. I love my freedom more than 'my status'. I know Samsung has tried to lock users in in a similar fashion (proprietary apps) but it is not so 'my way or highway' as with Apple. The only thing I've seen that could theoretically become that kind of 'crutch' is a stylus. If someone depends on the stylus, there really aren't many alternatives out there. Luckily I don't live in the US where in order to communicate with people I'd have to abandon my principles and just follow the crowd. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.

The fact that apple making it hard for apple and android to communicate should be something to address and as well as for social media dumbing down the competition will surely sway people to buy your product i have and iPhone. But just bc i got an iPhone doesn’t mean I’m blind to what’s at play

I like the quality of the video and your positive points. However I feel that the problem with how you worded everything is why people don't switch sides. As a user of both iPhone and android, I understand. But there are so many times where my friends and family ask me to use my Samsung because the quality on the video or photo was coming out better. It's situational. Google messages that replaced Samsung messages is far superior than what was before. Group chats are just as possible and quick sharing is easier between all android phones. There are choices. And your phone being something you use every day, a lot of android phones just objectively look better and more pleasing to the eye. But people will never experience the good of them as long as people encourage them not to try it. Again, as a user of both I recommended both sides to try the other.

I just switched back to a galaxy after basically hating myself for switching to a 13 pro max over a year ago I got the watch the computer basically jumped in with both feet. Granted I don't give a crap about social media, but I went in with some assumptions. Number one being that the iphone would be a virtually bugless seamless experience because they only have to contend with a very limited number of devices. Oh how wrong I was. It was the buggiest crappiest most limiting rigid incompatible device I've had as a phone since a flip phone with a proprietary charger which my 13 pro max also had. And the fact that this device made in this decade can't connect to a PC directly and have to use that stupid ass itunes garbage, and if I'm not using the mac laptop which was collecting dust because no damn games work on that thing then you couldn't even reply to messages on the computer in the year of our lord 2024 no less...
It made me feel like I got suckered into this grandma phone that people get peer pressured into by other people who would buy supreme shirts. I finally threw in the towel this month got rid of it, and it wasn't nostalgia brain. It's just as good as I remember outside of apple hell, a much more refined experience and a supremely more compatible and actually useful device. Now with some AI sprinkles to top it off. Y'all can keep your grandma phones, ok I'm done.

I switched to a Pixel, but it's been quite dreadful. Before going back to Apple, I'm thinking of trying out Samsung, though I'm unsure how different it'll be. My main issue with the Pixel is its messy data management. With media, it creates unnecessary folders, making it a hassle to find said media. I just want all my photos and videos in one place, regardless of where they come from. If I want to organize them into albums, I'd rather do it myself. When it comes to downloads from browsers/apps, I expect them to go straight to my camera roll or music app depending on the file type, all while still being accessible in the Files app. The Pixel's software feels clunky and lacks refinement, just like most of the apps in the Play Store. Does Samsung fix these issues? Should I give it a shot, or are all Android phones like this?

Keep in mind that RCS messaging will be launched on iPhones this year! That will fix all the problems with video and picture quality. 📱📸 Apple has been gatekeeping for years, but I'm glad the EU stepped in and called them out for their deception regarding Android messaging quality. 🇪🇺💪 The EU is also responsible for forcing Apple to add USB-C to their iPhone 15 phones. 📱🔌 I believe that once RCS messaging launches, former Android users who switched to Apple will return to Android, all because of what Apple wants people to believe about Android phones' quality. #RCS #Android #Apple #TechNews

communication is really key. especially for those that are on the road for work. apps like facetime becomes a necessity. 9/10 people own an iphone. location share, imessaging, findmy, airdrop, all apps that are used on the daily for personal and work are just much more convenient when everyone is on that platform. as much as i want to try the switch back to android since 2010, iphone has just been easier to communicate with. there really is an ecosystem within the technology of phones. even tho that samsung might have more capabilities, theyre almost useless when everyone else is running with apple

Everything mentioned by the gentleman in the Video, like sending location, can be done with WhatsApp or telegram to anybody without being bound to iPhone. I use a Chinese brand at the mome t because of 120 Watt charging. 19 minutes my phone is fully charged. I am a heavy user. The screen is 6,67 inch large and I have split screen capability and HDMI out. I can do PowerPoint presentations and I have 1 TB Rom. It was cheaper by 60% compared to a beautiful iPhone pro max

When deep dive in Android world you see more , you only mention what iPhone does which Samsung does but not as good as iPhone or iPhone locked it cos they scared. Social media video can be bypass by recording on phone camera app and upload, do know about dual recording damn iPhone users has been dreaming of since 2020, split screen, edge panel, history on calculator app , setting on individual app so much more and now AI features. My biggest problem with apple is making useless things sound useful, ripping users off and make it sound like they helping them. Dynamic Ireland and action button as an upgrade, no SD card , charger and now Sim tray as saving environment. Then we will pay more to get those things. Before buy 128 g and buy 256 gb SD card for 50 bucks , buy phone get new fast charger etc. Iphone has ruined the phone world. New titanium as an upgrade? How . Durability in titanium is in melting point and high tensile strength which is not required in phone. So no benefit. I believe stainless and aluminum is better for phone. Leave titanium for something useful. Weight 10g we save serious, we can notice 10 g different though I believe that can be battery tech, smaller chop , different camera modules but apple says its the titanium. For Durability use the titanium in the back of the phone and it will be useful. I'm sick of this modern tech. Please let me use my time and go make money lol thanks
