It aint worth being paid minimum wage for a job which no only involves violence and disrespect from the public, the clients your protecting, your bosses but also the risk of catching COVID. Glad i got out of security 5 years ago
Only work in hospital security they offer training, equipped with body armor and a range weapon not necessarily a gun but at least spray and taser. Otherwise do not apply - run! I you want to be a cop then be a cop - go for it! If want to be unarmed, work loss prevention at a retailer like Best Buy or something. Also, only accept pay that’s close or equivalent to what your local jail pays. Best thing you can do if you want to work in hospital security is just go to a hospital and speak to a security officer and be frank and ask them to tell you the truth lol.

Minimum wage? Holy shit where did you work lmao. Most hospital security gigs in my area are $20+ a hour starting.

I’m a security guard at a hospital and I have time for probably 3 meals throughout the day lol. There’s a lot of downtime in my case, it may vary
