@Temple and Autumn: - '...simply noticing the body during meditation' will of course keep you 'feeling' the body Your attention/awareness is being given to your body. Even watching your breathing keeps you in duality because breathing has your attention/awareness. The body and the breath - they're both external objects, both outside of what you are! So maybe try = You're aware of the body, you're aware of your breathing...etc. yes?....move your attention to 'Awareness'. Just be aware of Awareness itself. Once you get the hang of it..i.e.. stay aware of Awareness only...you should definitely loose the feeling of the body. Maybe easier words to start with might be to keep your attention on your Attention. Watch your attention, if it goes to a sensation in the body or it goes to your breathing, pull it back, 'be' Attention, which will lead you to Awareness. Be Awareness! The meditation is 'Awareness of Awareness Practice'. Hope this helps. Catherine.:-)
Jelousy is born out of Desire....It belongs to the State of Duality....and yet One has to experience Duality to the full in order to arrive to Oneness....
Jealousy is about an insecure or angry separate self (ego) so, when the separate self is let go of or seen through, the jealousy ENDS and there is no longer a "someone" to become jealous, threatened or angry - just you - an innocent, carefree, happy something/nothing.
Thats not necessarily true, anybody who's done some yoga or some meditation would say that they've experienced sensations and a change in orientation where they feel as though 'they' have expanded to the size of the whole room, or increased massively in size, or whatever....
