Consciousness veils itself from itself and pretends that it is a separate entity..and then forgets that it is pretending..

if we become accustomed to being this aware presence instead of pretending to be an entity, it just becomes ever more natural; just as it was natural to take our stand as a separate entity.

what we long for is our true nature, that is happiness. the very act of seeking denies this truth. what we truely seek can never be found in the realm of mind, the body or the world. at some stage we have the honesty, courage, clarity and love to face this fact.

Everyone we imagine ourselves to be has to die, for us to know what we truely are, the intimacy of being.
