Ouch! That's gotta hurt the way Wario gets hit over the head with those weights! Do you know how much those things weigh? 10 tons! That's 20,000 pounds! That's heavier than the heaviest bowling ball at 16 pounds!
Wario, the bad guy, gambles. Sonic, the good guy, gambles. Team Rocket, the bad guys, run the gambling casino. Red/Ash/Whatever, the good guy, gambles. What message does this send? I'll tell you: Everyone gambles, so don't feel bad if you do it. Now who wants to play some Voltorb Flip?
Wario was a great Mario character. He had more personality then Mario himself which shows how interesting his games were. He gets pulled into doing heroic things unintentionally and not because he wants to be the hero but because he wants to reap the rewards. Nowadays, I am really annoyed with how they have treated Wario. After Wario World, he gets screwed over out of the the treasure he collected and its because they want to make Mario the one who triumphs and not Wario because he is supposedly the bad guy.
I love the Wario Land games where he's immortal, that's what made me like Wario so much! Like "I set myself on fire so I can progress, but I don't care!"
In Wario Land II, no matter how much damage Wario takes, he can never die. If he gets hit by an enemy, he simply loses some of the coins he's collected
this is the first time I've seen this power-up. Wario get's an entire dragon suit in a later game called "Master of Disguise." Not sure if that's just a convenient circumstance or just a really good throwback.
One thing to consider for the gambling minigame, it's only a 50/50 chance if you leave after picking 1 bucket. Because it's 3 rounds of 50/50 and you can change which bucket to pick, the odds are actually much lower. There are 8 possible patterns the money can be in for any one game, and you can only pick 1, making your odds closer to 1/8, picking randomly. Looking at the breakdown of possibilities, if you pick from the same side for every option, and leave after the first anvil, or the second bag of money, it should minimize your losses, since you either come out with 4 times the money (1/4 of the time), come out with the same amount of money (1/4 of the time), or come out with 1/2 the money (1/2 of the time); which over time it should average out to 1.5 times of your earnings.
Oh man, I've actually played this game as a kid, and it's this, and the two sequels, that I've 100%'ed all the way through, and I hope that you continue playing the other games as well. Wario Land 3 has my favorite theme with the music box out of the entire series, and while the bosses can be INFURTIATING... It is worth it just to say "I've gotten the map, I've beaten that STUPID mini putt game and I've completed every route." This is a huge blast from the past, and I can't wait to see more!
It may not be my favorite Wario Land, but the one aspect I love about this game above the others is the stark contrast to Mario gameplay wise at the time. Oh what's that? You can run really fast? Well I can shoulder tackle. Your Mushroom lets you break blocks with your head? My Garlic lets me break blocks with my butt. Fireballs? Meet a flamethrower. Bunny ears? Pssh. I'm flying in style! Pretty sure they were venturing into "PCP" in Wario Land 4, Jon. Remember those minigames? And the sound test images that played? And some of the sound test tracks as well? But yeah, WL2 is the most radical departure from the Mario formula and even Wario formula since you could no longer select stages (up until a certain point, and even then, it has a lot of cutscenes for a Wario game) whereas you could in the remaining three. You also couldn't return to stages (though if you played WL4 well enough, you didn't need to) in that game. Perhaps that's why I consider 2 to be my favorite WL with 3 in 2nd.
So Jon, about the Jet Cap! Did you know that if you press the d-pad in the opposite direction you're moving, you cancel the flight stream, but don't descend or lose momentum!
I saw this in my subscription feed and got all confused, because I thought it was from raocow for a second... I just glanced at it and saw Wario in the thumbnail...
What? His track record is 1 or 2 videos a day, every day. I can't even remember the last time there was nothing, its been years. Way better than Proton Jon's :)
Just wanted to say I love all your YT vids. Quality content that always keeps me entertained and shows me new things. Hope to see more Vids one day soon even if you stream more now. I love how you do solo commentary in these so informative.
I spent so much time on this game. It felt humorous, and the extra goal of 'breaking the bank' at the end was often a goal. This and Donkey Kong. We must've loved all the same games.
Mysidia is the only place. He tried to rationalize it and even then, he wasn't convinced. It's implied that both he and his crew were upset over it, hence the beginning of the game, and being stripped of his command. Only Mysidia has a grudge against him, if we go by entire villages. Cecil accidentally burned Mist, but he was tricked. All he and Kain knew was they were delivering a package. And yes he accidentally killed Rydia's mom, which makes her hate him, but it is here Cecil decides he can't go through with this anymore, and chooses to go against Baron, and we are not that far into the story yet. If Cecil is being an anti hero, it doesn't last long in the grand scheme of things. Even from the beginning he doesn't want to do bad things.
Yeah, I suppose you could argue that he did evil things, but if he were an anti-hero, he probably wouldn't be trying to make up for it. Depends on what definition of anti-hero you mean.
I discovered a glitch when I was younger in one of the train levels. Where you start the level. jump on top of the first platform you come across. Turn left and jump off screen then use that power up that send you flying for ages to keep flying left till you come off screen and appear from the right where you fall under the level and enter a glitched level. I really hope you show this off. I don't even know if it's a well known glitch or not but I'm excited.
love, the wario land series, very excited to see the rest of the lp and all the interesting little tidbits you have to add; have always loved story time/history lessons with jon
I've noticed that due to glorious GB graphics, Wario kind of flips us off whenever he finishes a stage in small form Also, you have received 10 tons 11 times so far
Man I hope this will be a great series. Wario Land 3 way my childhood. The transformations. The difficult bosses. The fact that certain treasures give you new or upgraded skills. The Minigolf. I loved it. And that ending Hoo boy.
This was certainly a surprise, although, we may have to keep count now... Of how many LPs you finish before finishing Superman 64. Are you going for a minimum of 1 LP per episode of that game?
Jon, I love it when you do games like these such as Yoshi's island. It's relaxing hearing you talk about childhood games and feels more personal, so I hope you continue doing these.
Jon random question about the story (Yes I actually care about the story in a Mario Game) But is Wario trying to get the same castle that Mario stole from him, back from Mario with the Gold Peach Statue? Also do you think that the castle in Wario World is this same castle?
Following up on what D-Pad said, the manual for the game says that with the money he could get from the statue, he "could buy a palace that is way bigger than Mario's pathetic excuse for a castle". So he wants a different one.
Thank you so much for reviving my childhood! I loved this game back in the day, and many others, but when the PC came into my life late 1999 I kinda forgot the Gameboy, putting it in its keeping place in a locker for good. I realize now how much I had forgot, and with adult eyes and experience I can see that this really wasn't that big (I thought it was really big when I was a kid, everything over 5 was big) and most of all how freakin good this really is. As a kid I thought Gameboy was a poor mans gaming device, I never really valued the handheld aspect of it, but now I can truly see that I wasn't fooling myself thinking this was awesome. There are lots of other games that haven't stood the test of time. Excellent "let's play", kudos for having the correct aspect ratio, although I sense some gambling issues :P
so, if you had gambled the 844 coins and won, would it double to 1688 or stop at 999? fwiw, im the kind of person that would TOTALLY gamble that 844. i play Dragon Quest games, and those casinos are probably half the playtime on every file... i just cant help myself....
"Obey me, Waaario!! I am your master. Mario is your enemy." I think Wario's hypnosis got me good because I was all about him up until Waluigi came around. I even had Wario Blast. It wasn't great, but this game, man. The mechanics, the art design, the sounds, the music. . .It's near perfection.
Dude, Chill. An episode came out two weeks ago. He said in his facebook post and tweet that this is to tide people over till Project Sweet Bike and Superman 64 are ready to start/have their next episode.
I gotta say, after Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. I have always stuck around to the absolute end of your videos because of the humor within the End Slate. Attack Kittens were great. The F******* Pillars in the last Yoshi's Island episode was hilarious. I'm looking forward to these end slates as well. (And no, I'm not complaining about Superman 64, as I assume it takes an immense amount of time to get background/inside knowledge for the bios, fun fact intros, glitches and the like. I mean you got in touch with one of the main developers of the game and scheduled an interview with the guy. Major Props! Many may not see the amount of work you put into your series of videos, just know that some of us do, and are glad that you do so)
Oh, DUDE! I freaking LOVE this game! I remember my sister picking this up when it was new (I was a toddler at the time), and when I got a go at it I immediately fell in love with it. It's so goofy and stupid in the best way possible, and that's what makes it so fun! It's a very simple game, as you say, but I actually like this the most out of the games. The off-key music, the interesting environments (at least compared to Mario, Wario tends to climb through more caves, tight spaces, and really anywhere Mario doesn't cover), and some of the little things like paying to open the end gate. I feel like the only other game that captures the feel is the GC Wario World, and I love both games a ton! Best of luck with this playthrough!
Fun fact! "Spiked Pirate" has a much more interesting name in Japan. IIRC, it roughly means "Spiky Bros", implying that its some variety of Hammer Bros type enemy.
FYI, I know a lot of people make the mistake of thinking the castle is the best ending. If you get every treasure AND have at least 9,999 coins in storage, you'll get an even better ending. As for how to get the worst ending - every game over cuts your coin total in half. You'd have to get no treasure and also get lots and lots of game overs to get the worst ending without cheating. It's uh... kinda hard to do lol. Also, this is one of my all-time favorite games. I can't wait to see how this one goes. Good luck, Proton Jon!
I think jon is the first and only person I know to admit that he actually becomes more prone to getting worse at a game the longer he plays it. Which is, of course, why we love him.
Hey, Jon. If you use the shoulder charge to open the chest and jump so you hit the lid, you can collect the treasure before it fully emerges from the chest. Fun glitch, and you get a heart for it. Try it out. And thanks for the Episode! Love that you're doing this series.
Omg yesss. I am stoked you uploaded this. I just dusted off my gameboy and this game was a huge part of my childhood. It was the only gameboy game I liked that I owned. I still remember the rush I got beating the last boss. Cheers.
This is unrelated to the game somewhat (maybe?), but I kinda want to share anyways since the topic of gambling is mentioned. My dad and I will go to those mini-casinos or casino cafes to play some slots. My father was an expert in slots and gambling though on rare occasions he would lose about half of his winnings when he feels one of the games is going hot. Which could be why I am always with him to make him stop and convince him to keep his earnings. He taught me a trick which is a phrase: "Send in a solider to save a solider", basically meaning double the money that you started out with and stop it there to guarantee profit. Ex: start with 100.00, cash out 200.00 with a hundred profit. You can repeat the process depending how much money you can afford to gamble. It's the trick that has prevented me from having a slight gambling problem and whatever happens, whether I saved a solider or not, happens. So, +Proton Jon, if you ever feel you wanted to go to a casino again and not letting your luck distract you, go with the "Send in a solider to save a soldier" trick and I hope you will make a profit from it in any amount you start off with. My apologies if this story of mine is not related to Wario. XD
The fact you mentioned Dante and then had crap luck with the gambling is amazing. The Devil May Cry anime actually makes a joke of Dante having crap luck when he's gambling.
I think Wario Land was a series of twos. The original and Virtual Boy one are the "standard" types, 2 and 3 have the invincible/transformation deal, and 4 and Shake It! go back to a heart health system with the race back to the goal idea.
Man... so here's how I found this video. I was interested in reliving what this game looked like and sounded like because my copy was stolen from me about 10 years ago. I was going to buy it but then I was like... I need it now. Low and behold, I find myself on youtube... and omg Proton Jon???? Like... ProtonJonSA???? Kaizo Jon? The one, the only, Proton freaking Jon...regaling me again in video games, since like 2007? Thank you Jon!
Before Pokemon was a thing, this was my favorite Game Boy game by far. Collecting all the treasure really gave more of a sense of progression than simply clearing stages, which is something I didn't experience a lot in early games. I skipped out on a lot of Wario games because Wario doesn't really appeal to me as a character. It's a shame though, because the games themselves are all oozing with charm. Thanks for reminding me that this gem exists. Edit: Also I don't remember stages changing! I need to go play this again.
I'll always remember this game. I'll also remember being SUPER SCARED of the auto scrolling levels, so much so I'd always make my mom do them for me. Then one day I got gud and did it on my home.... because my mom was at work and I wanted to get further.
I'm honestly more stoked to see you playing this than Superman 64, if you can believe it. I got this game on VC some 2 years ago. And I actually got 100% on it, that's how much fun I had with it! Although playing it again now, somehow everything's giving me WAY more trouble than my first time around. And if you think I'm exaggerating... I died 4 times on the first boss.
A great nostalgic game for me. I remember how in second grade I traded my GBC copy of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for this. It was a great trade as this game was amazing! This will be great playthrough, I think, and hopefully you'll do the entire series down the road. This is great, but Wario Land 2 and 3 are great if not better. Can't wait to see more!
Boy does this bring back memories. I got this game right before a family roadtrip to Washington, D.C. I spent many, MANY hours in the backseat of the car playing this on my old brick Gameboy. And I think I beat it the day after we got home. xD
For my money, you just can't get a better game than Wario Land 3, with Wario Land 2 at a close second, but the original Wario Land is definitely no slouch. I'm really looking forward to watching you play this great old game and reminiscing right along with you, Jon.
This game is my childhood too! First time experiencing this game was back in...I think it was 1999. I borrowed this game from a friend in elementary school and I played it nonstop. I never made it to the end, but I would always remember making Wario dance to the music. Ah, good times. :]
I tend to leave after winning once with gambling, much saver. And yes, being forced to sit through the money counting can get annoying pretty fast when dealing in bigger amounts. Absolutely LOVE this game though! The save points are one of my favourites from any game ever, having to choose to fork over some cash to ensure safety and its design was definitely fanart material for me. Great stuff!
8:21 Maybe they're AIRrows! All of my yes for this LP! The love for anti-heroes. The fond feelings of nostalgia. This was one of my favorite games when I was younger and is still one of my favorite games of all time. During the whole episode I couldn't help but subconsciously hum the fart music.
Before, in the past, I saw the first couple episodes or so of this series of yours, however I did not watch it all the way through. My logic at the time for doing so was I wanted to experience this on my own based on the appeal of what I saw and how much fun you seemed to be having with the game. And instead of passively watching it and not engaging with the content on a more active basis, I have started to play the game myself via emulation on the 3ds virtual console. I intend on watching each episode of this series only AFTER I completed enough of the featured gameplay segment on my personal playthrough so as to not spoil myself, and to compare between how I naturally approached the game and how you did and also see what I missed out on (because let’s be real, a high-intermediate gamer at best is almost certainly going to miss plenty of things that a person who dedicates their whole career and life to video games manages to find and acquire with relative ease).
Man, I remember playing this game once when I was at my cousin's house when I was a kid. It was pretty fun, although I think I recall having a slightly tough time of it. But, I was a kid and was mainly used to the Mario games back then.
Only Wario games I ever really played were Wario World for GameCube and a bit of Shake it for Wii. Wario World is a wickedly underrated game and it was a lot of fun trying to find some of the treasures and beat some of the bosses.
Oh man, ProtonJon playing the first Wario Land game right as raocow's playing the best Wario Land game, neat! And it's also kind of neat with you mentioning how the Wario team transitioned into Rhythm Heaven, considering that series' tenth anniversary was just yesterday. Regarding the game itself: Sure is weird in retrospect how Wario needs a specific powerup to do the ground pound when it's part of his default moveset in all the future installments.
Non-Jet Wario's shoulder charge can be turned into a jumping charge by pressing the charge button then the jump button. Also, the first boss attacks you from above if you don't hit him out of it. Given the format of the LP, I don't blame you for not letting him go through his complete attack cycle.
Watching you play the money game reminded me of our Mohegan Sun trip.
The problem is that every time Wario gets hit in the head for gambling, the brain damage stops him from realizing he should stop gambling.
Ouch! That's gotta hurt the way Wario gets hit over the head with those weights! Do you know how much those things weigh? 10 tons! That's 20,000 pounds! That's heavier than the heaviest bowling ball at 16 pounds!
But he’s greedy so he won’t stop gambling sadly
25:51 Don't you mean that you knew there was a throw?
Now there's a joke that doesn't bomb.
If Jon won't say it then I will, "God damn... GET OUT OF MY COMMENT SECTION, EMILE!"
I think he was set up the bomb.
I guess you could say he was caught off guard
great, now where's Tim?
Greatest antihero for me is probably M____ from Chrono Trigger.
Definitely. His story is so sad! I love how the game allows you to play as him at the end game, and his techs show his story as well.
...but there's only 3 letters, I thought it was six?
Everyones favorite character: *M*
Lol
Coin Game Totals:
9 wins, 13 losses, 41% Win
Life Game Totals:
2 Hits, 8 Misses, 20% win
Coin Game Profit Total: 689 Profit! * really need to finish watching the videos before writing these*
Wario, the bad guy, gambles.
Sure, I've always loved voltorb flip!
I just noticed something interesting Jon:
The symbol for "10" in Japanese looks like a plus sign. Now look at the 10 coins.
Same symbol. =D
Yes, Wario is indeed a big character. It's pretty easy to see.
he's not big, he's just big boned.
You could even say he's... a big guy.
+Superstar6060 He's a......big shot.
And even then, isn't it just his stomach that's actually fat, while the rest is muscles? -sans stubby legs-
VonFirflirch
yeah, Wario is flabby in the torso because he has so much muscle the flab has nowhere else to go
Wario was a great Mario character.
Every character has more personality than Mario, since Mario pretty much has none. His only real personality traits are being heroic and nice.
that happens in this game
You could say Mario is a bit of a blank sheet, he may be flat but he can be folded to your whim and drawn with many colors. ;)
Wario is darkwing duck
Sick reference bro! Your paper mario game is on point.
Wario would use save states on the money game.
That's how I do it on the 3DS version.
I always save state the money game in The Legend of Zelda on 3DS virtual console... Gotta get that blue ring!
King Harkinian That's the best part of Wario. Cheaters always prosper.
Or just use the Pause glitch exploit to give yourself 999 coins instantly before beating each level. lol
I can relate to that luck. My average d20-roll is around 4.
Blessings to you, disciple of RNGesus. May fortune grace your future rolls.
DC 5? need to roll 2+? Hello 1s.
I have some of the weirdest luck. some days I am the luckiest man alive and others I'm the unluckiest man alive. and I have no clue why.
+ratchetdude9000 Sounds like you have the Devil's Luck, my friend.
My brother has very similar luck. xD
Seems like you have contracted the Wheaton curse.
That dragon hat pickup is.... interestingly shaped.
this is the first time I've seen this power-up. Wario get's an entire dragon suit in a later game called "Master of Disguise." Not sure if that's just a convenient circumstance or just a really good throwback.
pphair thank the gods I'm not the only one who noticed that
It's a bottle of cock and ball torcher

YESH! THE RETURN OF THE RED COIN SHYGUYS! LET THE ANIMATIONS CONTINUE!

So... Emile is a vampire and Jon is a werewolf. What the hell is Tim then?
A skeleton?
I expected hearing the word "GAAAAAAAAAME!!!" every time that 10-ton weight fell.
So Jon, about the Jet Cap! Did you know that if you press the d-pad in the opposite direction you're moving, you cancel the flight stream, but don't descend or lose momentum!
So during that bomb minigame, I guess you could say... "Doh I missed!"
So who else is watching his old series ahead of the new thursday schedule?
I love this game and I never get tired of watching or playing it. So refreshing to see one of my favorite LPers tackle it.
Thanks so much.
Last time I came this early, comments didn't do this
Embracing the darkness
Hello darkness my old friend.
It's Ya Boi do what?
Seeing Jon's content in my sub box never fails to put the biggest, dumbest smile on my face.
Raocow is playing Wario Land 4
ProtonJon is playing Wario Land?
Awesome!
Correction, Jon is playing Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, not Wario Land 3
+mariopikaman1 yup, don't I feel dumb
I saw this in my subscription feed and got all confused, because I thought it was from raocow for a second... I just glanced at it and saw Wario in the thumbnail...
Wanna know an even more awesome coincidence? I wrapped up an LP of "Wario Land 3" earlier this week! On Monday, in fact! :D
All 15 Treasures and 10k coins exact or more will get you the best ending
I spent so much time on this game. It felt humorous, and the extra goal of 'breaking the bank' at the end was often a goal. This and Donkey Kong. We must've loved all the same games.
Best anti-hero imo: Cecil from FFIV ---AWESOME video!
How is Cecil an anti-hero? He's doing the right thing.
Whole Dark night thing
He's, uh, starts as a Dark Knight who pillaged Mysidia - and other villages - and goes into a midlife crisis.
That's pretty anti-heroic stuff.

0:26 “Until it hit me”
So you’re the boat?
love, the wario land series, very excited to see the rest of the lp and all the interesting little tidbits you have to add; have always loved story time/history lessons with jon
I've noticed that due to glorious GB graphics, Wario kind of flips us off whenever he finishes a stage in small form
Also, you have received 10 tons 11 times so far
If Wario finishes a stage as Small Wario, he is transformed into Big Wario
Man I hope this will be a great series. Wario Land 3 way my childhood. The transformations. The difficult bosses. The fact that certain treasures give you new or upgraded skills. The Minigolf. I loved it. And that ending Hoo boy.
"I really miss when games were this dumb."
...someone's never heard of Shadow of Destiny
That came out closer to Wario Land's release than to the present day.
14:30
So this is "A Canadian Werewolf in America?"
And I was honestly expecting the Arcade Pit sound effect for the Horn of Gondor.
This was certainly a surprise, although, we may have to keep count now...
Of how many LPs you finish before finishing Superman 64. Are you going for a minimum of 1 LP per episode of that game?
I always like watching ProtonJon. It keeps me going!
28:33 JON WATCHES ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!
1st he wants to buy his own castle 2nd its the same one in wario world it also hows up in wario land 2.
Stops at 999.
Was there a casino in IX? Only one I've played and I don't recall it.
+Magikarpador Wasn't it in that one super poor town under bridges, behind a locked door or something?
Dragon Quest FTW!
Aw, Lame! I would love a game where you could guarantee the good ending in the first world.
"Obey me, Waaario!! I am your master. Mario is your enemy."
I think Wario's hypnosis got me good because I was all about him up until Waluigi came around. I even had Wario Blast. It wasn't great, but this game, man. The mechanics, the art design, the sounds, the music. . .It's near perfection.
Is it sad that I can imagine Wario saying do I missed every time he loses coins?
I've watched the runaway guys mario party 1-3 playthroughs way too many times. So I'd say no, you're probably not alone in that regard.
+The Scarlet Shepherd (Ascending Psychic) Alright, just wanted to know. I'm with you about watching TRG's Mario Party 1-3 Lps
EnVy Dragon
yup, now if you'll excuse me, nostalgia calls
Well this was a nice surprise to see in the sub feed after work. Also that face Wario has when he is at the coin gambling mini game is the best.
Where's Superman, I was promised him.
Dude, Chill. An episode came out two weeks ago. He said in his facebook post and tweet that this is to tide people over till Project Sweet Bike and Superman 64 are ready to start/have their next episode.
What IS Project Sweet Bike?
+KnivesInAToaster Memes, my friend.
Project sweet bike is a stream meme. Big secret. Can't tell you.
itsjetsetradiofuturedonttelljonitoldyouok?
yep. Can't tell you.
You were promised and he was delivered... two weeks ago. ua-cam.com/video/T716drti024/v-deo.html
Many may not see the amount of work you put into your series of videos, just know that some of us do, and are glad that you do so)
YES! Thank you so much for this!
This was the first game I ever played and still one of my very favourites!
Man this was a blast from the past. I remember loving this game as well as Wario Land 3 when I was a kid.
I remember playing Wario Land II back in 1998. The music brings back memories of when I played it
Wario Land 4 for the GBA was pretty much my favourite game as a kid. It's a brilliant game!
Awesome, another series that can make me cry when updates come out once a year.
Yes! Jon is playing one of my all time favorite games. I am so stoked for this!
XD
Finally found a genuinelly good lets play channel. This was so relaxing. Thank you
I just stopped in to say that this was the very first Mario-style game I ever owned, and it has a special place in my heart. I'm very excited!
Whoa, this brings back some memories! One of my favorite games in middle school. Thanks Jon!
HES A NIGHT ELF MOHAWK
Whe feels i used to play it a freaking lot, mario was a hero , but wario was first exposure for a kid-me of what a bad-ass is
Wario Land 3 was one of my favorite games as a kid. Looking forward to seeing this one.
Jon's Mini-game Streak:
Money Game: 9/20 - 45%
Heart Game: 2/10 - 20%
The fact you mentioned Dante and then had crap luck with the gambling is amazing. The Devil May Cry anime actually makes a joke of Dante having crap luck when he's gambling.
Oh man, I never knew you could hold the bomb at a specific throw strength. Shows how often I chose that minigame.
Love the addition of the red coin shy guy at the end
Proton jon is my favorite lets player, so I am very happy!
Why is this playlist what I put on when nothing else tickles my fancy..?
Oh man, this was one of my "played to death as an 8-year-old" games. This was what I learned to play games on. Sooo much nostalgia.
But, I was a kid and was mainly used to the Mario games back then.
one of my childhood memories: "start" -> 16x"select" -> :^)
I love this game, I actually remade Rice Beach for a level in a fan game I used to work one. Thank you for playing this series!
Ooh I love evolving game worlds. Can't wait to see the rest.
Only Wario games I ever really played were Wario World for GameCube and a bit of Shake it for Wii. Wario World is a wickedly underrated game and it was a lot of fun trying to find some of the treasures and beat some of the bosses.
I just KNEW there'd be an end slate gag in this series, so I waited at the very end. Was not disappointed at all. :3
Saw this in my sub box today, couldn't of come at a better time, Jon. Thank you for maling my hospital visit 10 times better!
Perfect game for Jon to LP. Lots of derps to commit, secrets to find... and glitches to count.
yesssssssssssssss, a new let's play from jon, and it's wario land of all things
I LPed this game ages ago, but It's awesome to see your take on this, Jon! I hope you'll be 100%-ing it! Keep up the brilliant work!
So glad to be seeing alot more of your videos in my sub feed
I will always love this game. Played this game for like 5 years until my GameBoy died. :-D
I love Wario Land 4
haven't played the others yet
this episode was awesome
I like this series a lot! I am excited to follow such a great game Jon!
