Abbreviated versions of Volarre and O Sole Mio are too short for us to fully experience Elena's ways with these songs. I tried listening to her more official full length versions, but I prefer the style, with piano accompaniment, in this medley. In a word, wish I could here her sing full length versions of these classics backed by a beautiful Steinway or equivalent. I return to this video often, wishing each song-fragment wouldn't end so quickly. I want to hear the songs build and savor them form more than 30 seconds. But what we have is obviously beautiful, otherwise I wouldn't be saying this. So beautiful that the brevity is so, so frustrating!
