Instead of karate, my mom made me take piano lessons which paid off in the long run. Because girls would rather see a sensitive piano. Playing man than 2 guys beat the s*** out of each other. The moral of the story is I can play. Let it Rock On the v piano and chicks. Dig it
I wanted to take karate, but my mother said play piano. So she took me to piano lessons. Moral of the story. I can play let it Rock on the piano and chicks dig it
I love the 1975 Let it Rock performances because it has such an awesome piano player, drummer, bassist and Jerry. Just an amazing amount of talent in those years ❤
Oh yes! Used to see Garcia and his various bands at the Keystone in Berkeley while a student there. This is how I remember his guitar sounding live. Soooo good!! Two thumbs up on this one played loud on a good system….

saw this show somewhere in the valley in 82. Very different than the show I saw in 78 near Detroit , less LSD spinners, more coke and heroin but rocked out.
Nah was easy at the Kaiser's the next month New Years was tough, but yeah it was already stupid hard on the east coast. Great show was my birthday the day before much love fun with old friends Kyle
I am certain that the conversation went something like this; "Hey Billy, what are you doing tonight?" "Nothing much, Jer - what you got goin' on?" "Ah, we're just sitting around, our drummer just left town. You down?" "Man, I am neck deep in this football game - can we meet up later?" "Yeah - what are you doing tonight?" And then they just stood around and played this set for the world to hear. As easy as that, my friends.
The Capital was about two hours away and I saw the JGB and the Dead.I might have been at this show I was probably there my first was into both bands. We always took acid at every show. I never went to a show that I didn’t take some. I actually took Bear acid when I asked Jerry if I could sit behind the amps and he let me and Bear was dosing everybody..⚡️🎸⚡️

This is hands down one of the greatest covers of all time.

My favorite JGB cover. I listen to this album on repeat.
It doesn’t get any better than this
Cool to see Billy on the drums! He’s such a good drummer.
John Jerome Garcia now that’s how you Rock!
This is my definition of music
Jerome Garcia..... RIP aka Jerry, will always be with us mere mortals
Jerry is great!!!! The Chuck Berry original has 3 instrumental breaks which Keef adheres to. Jerry really stretches out.
Still one of the greatest tunes performed by one of the greatest performers of all time.. new shoes baby...
Def one of the greatest guitar riffs ever written. Truly timeless: it sounds just as badass and hair-raisin’ and toe tappin’ as it did in 1960
Tryin to find somebody take away these blues. This is sweet.
Jerry Rocks !
As someone who works in the rail industry, I fuckin love this song!
