My Hot Rod Deluxe had the resistor issue. I replaced them and gave them about a half inch to an inch of clearance off the board. I recapped it since I was in there. I also, cut a hole in the back and put in a dc brushless fan right over the resistors.

Whatever works for ya. I have done at least a dozen or more of these mods and never had a call back doing it this way.👍🎸
@@rocknrollamps Do the different resistors require a different bias? If it happens again I'll consider doing it your way.
