"I rock with Dennis!"
✊
I've been using "Come and see the violence inherent in the system!" since I was a child thanks to Dennis 😅
He knows a corrupt government when he hears one.
🤣🤣
Arthur and his knights were framed. The knight who murdered the Famous Historian had a horse.
The ending is actually perfect. Because it’s a cop out!
"I have a feeling this movie's just going to end abruptly, dude"
Most people are surprised at that. Good on you for predicting it in advance.
Tidbit of information...they didn't have enough capital to rent more than one castle. Every scene with a castle is the same castle, just different angles!
Oh fr 🤣 I heard they ran out of money and thats why the end was like that to.
They had castles lined up but the government pulled the plug at the last minute. The one castle they used was privately owned.
the two terries who co-directed this were terry gilliam ('patsy'/the animator) and terry jones (sir bedevere, herbert of swamp castle). gilliam excelled in what he called 'cutout animation' where he would take a bunch of old photos and make... well, the kind of stuff you saw him make here. there is a video somewhere out here on youtube is a segment from a bbc kids' show where he explains how he made them.
terry jones' college degree was in medieval studies, and a lot of stuff they used for this were based on records from the era (a religious order of 'flagellates' who would wander from town to town, whipping themselves as demonstrations of piety; a fiefdom full of serfs that ruled themselves because none of the nobles particularly wanted the land they were living on; sir galahad always charging into any situation and indiscriminately killing people). he presented a couple of seasons' worth of documentaries on medieval life.
"And Now for Something Completely Different" was a movie they had done that was something of a greatest-hits of sketches they did from the tv show. excellent primer on their sense of humor.
Oh wow thats actually really cool its always fun hearing more facts about the people who had a hand in movies! Thanks for the info!
⚔ A noble movie reaction video good sir. No moose were harmed filming this movie, including the stunt moose.
A favorite gag is the Frenchman pronouncing each letter in "knight."
Now we see the violence inherent in the system!
🤣🤣
You should watch mel brook's "blazing saddles" as well as "robin hood: men in tights"!
ive heard of the blazing saddles. Ill add them to the list!
Also "Young Frankenstein" (Mel Brooks). Life of Brian and the Meaning of Life (Monty Python)
they could not have done the murder because the killer had a horse and they did not
Bro, you are funny as hell. And I like how you put your face in the small little window, and the movie full screen so we can see it better. You are doing it right, keep up the good work, and do more reactions. Do all the Austin Powers movies, all the Naked Gun movies, and Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke. You are really good with the comedy movies, so do as many of them as you can.
love this movie
My favorite is Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983).
Some parts of this insanity are based in historical fact, such as the Dead Carts during the Black Plague, and the self-flagellating religious sects (represented by the monks whacking themselves with boards.
The animated scene of the scribe chasing the sun and clouds away ("Bloody weather...") is one of my favorite bits, along with the 'passage of seasons' animated montage.
They're definitely not LARPing; I wouldn't go to a LARP where people with real swords would cut my limbs off.
Idk LARPing with real sword might be kinda cool 🤣
Even Terry Gilliam's art has a more Illuminated middle ages style. It's fun that the Pythons are all nerds and packed their movies full of little tidbits for those who know.
The rest of the Monty Python movies are a bit more coherent. In addition to Life of Brian, there are Jabberwocky and Meaning of Life.If you can watch some of the sketches from the tv show Monty Python's Flying Circus, do it. The fish dance, Parrot sketch and bookshop are particularly good.
Bet i definitely want to check out the TV show cause I had never heard of these guys before!
Oh. Bet this was awesome to watch
it was a fun watch it was all over the place 🤣
Hannah Montana Movie
Sheeesh Thats a classic I grew up watching that with my Cousin!
Applying logic to this film is illegal. All those that do will be punished by - the Spanish Inquisition.
Oh my! I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!
@@drokkerelq Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition
I thought the punishment was spanking?
