I grew up with this show and like it, the racism toward white people never bothered me because chris rock is funny and I understand its made for black people but now its a cartoon and kids watch it and kids these days with BLM and wokeness are gullible and not like us 80s kids that know TV is just entertainment not a real life truth in there. School shootings happen now because these kids internalize the racism and its getting irresponsible like the media is. Literally the first minute of the show starts with him talking about quitting school because "its full of white people that oppress me". Its not funny anymore its pandering. That being said I will still watch it because I genuinely like the show, but its getting hard to ignore the racism towards white people because all I see on the news is how the black community is struggling with the new generation being racist and stupid and how sensitive they are to racism, they are creating an entire generations of victims that can't take it but dish it out and see nothing wrong with it. The whole you can't be racist towards white people is just scary. They are not going to be successful in life. BET shows them racism and crime and single mothers and welfare is normal. Just opening a streaming service and at the very top is black entertainment because they acknowlege that blacks are becoming racist as fuck, if I saw a section called white emtertainment I would cancel the service because I know there is an agenda there and I don't carry out other people's bullshit agendas, using racism to make money is fucking disgusting

When it was originally released in 1977, it was simply "Star Wars" with no episode name or number. It was a single stand-alone movie. After the movie became a huge success, George Lucas started mapping out how he wanted the sequels.... and prequels done. The first sequel, "The Empire Strikes Back" was released in 1980, and had an episode number in it... which was confusing to all of us since the original one was just called "Star Wars". However, when the original one was re-released in 1981, it has been "updated" so that now it also contained an episode number and name ("A New Hope").

Nonsense with Batman being at fault for not killing Joker. It’s not his responsibility, it’s not his job. Batman stops him, beats his ass, and gives him over to the people of Gotham like a Christmas present. The judges never sentence him to death, the guards at Arkham never give him the ol’ Epstein, Gordon, or any other cop, could shoot him and claim they had to, and no one would question it. Some random citizen could go all Jack Ruby on him and probably be considered a hero. Anyone else could kill Joker, but we always blame the one guy who swore he’ll never kill anyone. Get the hell outta here.

I can't get into why, but I HIGHLY suggest you watch the movies in this order: 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6. Perhaps between 2 and 3 you can watch the Clone Wars TV show, it's my favorite part of star wars.

I get the Anxiety hate, but I think Anxiety is a very important part of growing up. Anxiety and Fear work hand in hand, the difference is Anxiety is laser focused on “realistic” possibilities whereas fear is pretty broad. I think an integral part of growing up is having Anxiety about the future, and in the end, Anxiety really is just trying help and be prepared for the worst case scenario. Notice how Anxiety shrunk back when HER version of Riley’s sense of self was negative. She honestly didn’t want to hurt her, she was just trying to be prepared. But that’s what makes Anxiety so negatively powerful, she only focuses and prepares for the bad. By the end, she grows and learns to cope with and prepare for EVERY possibility, which is also an integral part of growing up. I prefer Inside Out 2 because I appreciate and connect with it more. It’s great to show kids that some things may be out of your control, and things may not always be joyful and fun. Part of growing up is growing into and accepting all parts of yourself. And as a teacher, I really love that message for all kids

Btw, one of my niche interests is old foley SFX and I freaking love the wilhelm scream. It didn't actually originate in this film (original 1950s file is called "man getting bitten by an alligator") but this WAS the film that made it famous, because the sound design lead Ben Burtt thought it was so funny that he put it in Star Wars and every single film he worked on after that. Other people caught onto the joke and started doing it too!

Omg awesome!!! I JUST got into Star Wars as an adult too! I binged all the movies for the first time just in time to see the final movie in theatres. I think it's actually a great time to get into it since the main film franchise is finished and you don't get sucked into the black hole that is the fandom. My personal fav in the movies is episode 5 (and 6 it's really a tie), but even more than the movies I'm in love with Andor right now. It's only one season long right now so it's short but it's GOOD, highly recommend

No Spoilers! But which is your favorite Star Wars Movie or TV Show?!

Welcome to the Star Wars fandom! If you are going to watch the Star Wars movies, I highly suggest that you watch them in this order (after this movie): Episode V: Empire Strikes Back Episode I: The Phantom Menace Episode II: Attack Of The Clones Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith (Stand Alone) Rogue One Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi And from there, watch whatever you want. Honestly, the Sequel Trilogy (and Solo movie) sucks more than the Prequel Trilogy and I refuse to watch reactions to them. Again, this is just a suggestion. You can take my suggestion or not. However you will greatly appreciate the order that I suggested afterwards. The plot twist in Episode III is more impactful and Episode VI makes a more satisfactory emotional ending, because it is the end of the story. This also solves the prequel paradox by making all these movies just one story. I can't say anything else or I would go into spoilers. Now some other people will suggest the Release Order. I can't stop you from watching that order, but the "because we watch them in that order" is a super weak reason. My "Satisfying Order" serves a narrative purpose (something the gatekeeping Release Order purists can't say) and you'll be watching all of movies anyway. If I could blank my mind and watch these movies fresh, that's the order I would love to watch them in.

Some of the interiors and the courtyard of Luke's house were filmed in a hotel in Matmata, Tunisia. One can visit this two-star hotel and see some pictures and the painted ceiling of what was used for the Lars' dining room. When Luke goes out of the farm, he appears in a flat deserted area, while the reality, when you get out of the hotel, there are a lot of other houses, small stone hills, and a lot of prickly pear cacti (a variety very common in Tunisia). The skeleton that C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) passes belongs to a Tatooine creature called a Greater Krayt Dragon. This artificial skeleton was left in the Tunisian desert after filming and still lies there. During filming of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones (2002), the site was visited by the crew once more and the skeleton was still there.
