Ginza is a lot better than rodeo drive or New York’s 5th ave. It’s a lot more massive, more stores, nicer buildings, clean, safe and overall feels a lot more upscale and modern.
I have come to tokyo just to relax and do normal stuff… taking the subways, oogling at food in depachikas, window shopping etc… its just so enjoyable especially for an introvert
I’m a retired deputy sheriff and that dude stopping the car was awesome! If I tried that back in the day, they’d bolt and I’d be shaking my finger at them. 😂😂😂. Great one sir! Be careful and keep ‘em coming!
To@@flyingfox3766 Especially young Japanese und foreigners like Shibuya and Shinjuku. But I like Ginza department stores and Tokyo Station underground streets.
The pedestrian street of Ginza is opened from Noon to 6PM(until 5PM in winter) on Saturdays and Sundays, so if you had started shooting another 1hr later, maybe you would have been the best timming.
That was'nt a peach shop. Akebono is a store that sells traditional Japanese snacks like rice crackers. They probably posted peaches b/c it's peach season and they are selling this season limited snack that's made w/ peaches. Japanese people love seasonal foods and limited time foods here that many stores and companies produce often. By the way, try eating natural raw peaches in Japan. They are white inside and sooo juicy❤
You know why this guy is so cool, being ex-military and a world traveller without ANY arrogance and when looking at flowers, states he would like to bring home some flowers for his Mother. Now, that makes somebody a cool guy !! Keep up the good work hermano !
Throwing a like and a comment at you as I usually do. Another great video! I got a kick out of your reaction to the police officer on the bicycle. I walked the beat when I was a police officer and we also had bicycle officers where I’m from. Sometimes I had to stop cars on foot so it made me laugh to see the same thing happening in Japan😂😂😂
27:21 By the way, only one thing..., Japan is not a tiny island tho because the size of Japanese land is bigger than Germany and smaller than France. But, of course, much smaller than the United States. Actually the size of Japan is almost same as the state of California. Eventually about the size, France > California > Japan > Germany😊 35:42 Also, the name of Japanese female artist is Yayoi KUSAMA who is very famous in the contemporary art world🌟 Thank you for your nice walk and video👍
I was in Tokyo during the Christmas Holiday in 2003. Ginza shopping district is similar to high end stores in Yorkville area in Toronto, Canada. Greetings
Thank you share your Japan video ❤ and My Favorite store is TJ Max. Finally Ross for less one location. Hope more locations. Walmart. L.o.l and we love your video ❤.
I'm not all that in to fashion or luxury stuff, but Ginza is fun to walk around... One tip, if you need to buy some cloths (maybe you didn't pack enough, or don't have cloths for the temperature or weather), the Uniqlo in Ginza is pretty reasonably priced ($20-$40USD for jeans, $20-$40 for a button down shirt),. and they have sizes to fit typical westerners. For reference, I was 5ft 10, 200 pounds and had no problems finding cloths there. I believe that's the "flagship" Uniqlo store too (it's huge).
i'm loving your tokyo videos. you're so spontaneous. Yayoi Kusama is the Japanese artist who has a collab w/ Louis Vuitton btw. The prints are just too loud for my taste, i still prefer the classic lv print. i don't have the financial resource for an lv though 😅.
love these videos! im going next month. Have you been to any Onsens? i wondering if there are some that you can go in even if you have tattoo, i have some too and want to go to one.
Directly liked the video after you said "If I am feeling a little bit fancy I go to H&M" only humble people say things like that. Love your video's bro hopefully we will meet once in real life by coincidence!
Chris, I enjoy your videos and have really liked the tour of Japan. May I ask what you do for a living that affords you the freedom to travel as much as you do, because I want to do that.
In Japan I believe they are the 3rd highest county with the least over weight ppl. They eat most of fresh vegetables and fruit plus seafood. Foods don’t have multiple chemicals in their products. They have lots of ppl over the age of 90 and health care takes care of many hospitals bills for the ppl.
Chris, I hear you on the money thing. I too would struggle to come up with enough cash for anything over the average price.! The content here is awesome though Chris! :) Keep up this great channel! :)
If you experience a night walk in Tokyo, you will fall in love with Tokyo. The atmosphere of Tokyo during the daytime and at night is 180 degrees different. Tokyo's charm is at night. It is safe for women to walk alone at night.
I'm like you Chris, whatever I feel comfortable with I don't really care about the brands. The artist's name is Yayoi Kusama. She is almost 100 years old
Great video as usual Chris.. I’m a new subscriber and not sure if you’ve touched on this but what do you do for a living that lets you travel so much.. also what kind of glasses are you wearing in the video

I'm from HK and started watching your vids since your HK trip. Love the genuineness of your video. I cracked up when you compared the police pull up with the States
Before you even said anything i thought “raaaah, look at the fed bike pull over a bike!” Never in the UK would this happen. These designers look like they have more impressive shops than Paris! I agree, the Nissan gtr is a hot car, but my ex had a Lamborghini, and i decided if you’re gonna get a super car, get a Lambo - they’re silly, but that’s what a super car should be!

Ginza at night is exceptional.
You also got a GU store the whole building!!!
Super cool area, still can’t get over how clean Tokyo is, even outside of the luxurious area, Great video!!
Totally agree with you bro! Very impressive city!
Thanks for watching
Such a cool area, it's very quiet for a city and very clean
23:01 Mikimoto is a jewelry store. It was the first company in the world to successfully cultivate pearls.
You are lucky to be visiting Japan. And we are lucky to see your videos in Japan.
Thank you very much.

Yes! Definitely a great city!
depachika(food shops in the department store) is must to visit in Japan.
I am Japanese. I recommend Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace area. It's a place that Japanese people love.
I’m a retired deputy sheriff and that dude stopping the car was awesome! If I tried that back in the day, they’d bolt and I’d be shaking my finger at them. 😂😂😂. Great one sir! Be careful and keep ‘em coming!
Awesome tour video! I noticed the streets are really clean. Thanks!👍
Most foreigners go to Asakusa ,Shibuya and Shinjuku. But for us Japanese Ginza and Tokyo Station Area are most attractive🎉
My favourite areas are ginza and tokyo station area too… soo clean and classy… cant wait to return in october

Ms Yayoi Kusama is a world famous artist of polka dot design.
This was my first time hearing of her, but her work looks very nice
You know why this guy is so cool, being ex-military and a world traveller without ANY arrogance and when looking at flowers, states he would like to bring home some flowers for his Mother.
Now, that makes somebody a cool guy !!
Keep up the good work hermano !
I hope you will visit Japan again! Your reflections on Japan in this video were very interesting.
Great vlog Chris, thank you 💙
Go to a coffee shop in the morning. Coffee shops in Japan serve excellent and inexpensive breakfast with a cup of coffee.
Another great Tokyo video! New things i didn't know about.
I'm still here ... That's an awesome video.

The footpath and roads are built with such a good material and no litter!

Chris love your video ❤🎉 beautiful raw footage .
Thanks for sharing video of this area. Cool to see though shopping there.....probably not for us. Nice tour though. See you in the next one ✌️👍👍👌
I guess that water hydrant pole works like the bumb sign which must be read as "bumb ahead" so guess its fire hydrant ahead
The hydrants are usually attached to the buildings.

Uni-Culo is my favorite store. I’m gonna call it Uni-Culo from now on. Great vid Chris 😂
That Louis Vuitton letterman jacket was 🔥 but I’m like you T-shirt and shorts. 😂

Chris... I'm curious if you were ever asked leave an establishment because of your tattoos? I had to cover mine when I went to the gym.
Questions about tattoos during your stay in Japan? You can enter restaurants and shops without any problems.
Where is Glady?
Lol how do they have that much to sell, totally agree
