  • I love a spa bar so much - many people call a bar made with a lot of salt a spa bar due to the incredibly luxurious lather! I completely forgot to mention Lisa ‪@IDreamInSoap‬ where I got this wonderful recipe while I was a patreon member of hers. For this reason I will be unable to share the recipe.

    Omg! I love it! I just made my first loaf because I usually do single molds. I love that soapers are doing these!❤

      yeah I thought the single molds would attract buyers because they are different (I used the flower molds) but it was a hard sale! Thanks so much for watching!💞

    I never tied that fragrance Tammy. Love salt bars. The lather is so dense and creamy. It’s almost like a shave soap lather, incredible. Lovely swirls and colors. I just made Muddy patchouli with dea sea clay also.

    A few things,, first all my soaps began to sell better when I made them in a log mold lastly, I LOVE LOVE THE Dead Sea Mud Face Scrub. Don't be afraid to add a higher price tag, I sell mine for a $30.00/4-ounce jar.

      that's good to know Tessie! So I am not too far off with the $18 for 2.25 or so. thanks for sharing that! I was worried but I have sold a couple. I scoped out your Etsy shop - I love your items! The sea moss stood out to me - I have had a bag of organic sea moss for 3 YEARS!!! (not sure if it goes bad LOL) and I STILL haven't tried using it! My goal is this is THE year for Sea Moss 😂💞

      Debbie, thank you! you know, I have never smelled anything Jo Malone LOL. I don't get into colognes or perfumes (Jo Malone is colognes right? LOL)
      Thanks for watching and your comment - I now need to add it to my wax melt testing LOL

    Thanks for sharing about making in the individual molds as against the loaf mold as that's what I usually do. Only just made it in the loaf this past week as I have been scared to try it and have to cut it. Will see how it sells now but after cutting I was still saying I'm going back to individual mold as I'm still a bit scared it will break the strings of my cutter😂

      haha - yeah that is a real fear LOL - I hope they do sell well for you though.😍

    So because you are adding the salt do you make a smaller batch so it will fit in your mold? I want to try salt bars but am not sure how to make it all work!

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 місяці тому

      you know, I don't think I do LOL
      I'm not home right now but I am pretty sure I use the same amount of oils and it doesn't make too much of a difference - but I will check when I get home and if I am wrong I will let you know!
      Give it a go! Another way to do it is to make a salt water solution and use that instead of just water. I've done it where I do a 50/50 (half my salt in the water for ley and half my water in the soap before pouring)🤗

    Do you use your regular recipe or do you use 100% coconut oil?
