The video I've been waiting on. I tried brewing a shandy last year using crystalized lemon. It just wasn't producing enough lemon flavor. Adding more made the beer more tart. 🍻
I've actually never tried using crystalized lemon before! My favorite part of using the lemonade is that I get an idea of the flavor it'll add before I mix it in with my base beer.
Wish I had a kegging system so I could just throw in sugar to backsweeten, but I might try something similar to this with erythritol at bottling time! Last year I just threw some commercial lemon soda in my belgian blondes, but bottling it straight sounds like a lot of fun!
It's definitely worth the try! There have been plenty of times where I have mixed juices and puree's into my beers in the pint glass. It works just as well and is so convenient! I would also recommend trying mixing in some store bought Margarita mix - it is an interesting combo.
One of my favourite drink i used to have in Dubaï
