Star World International Hotel Beijing in Sanlitun China

On this adventure, I stayed at this amazing hotel in Beijing, China, within steps of all of the nightlife and action of the Sanlitun area. I was looking for a somewhat economical, but nice hotel to stay at in the days leading up to my trip into North Korea, and this seemed like a hidden gem. As you will find, many of the nice hotels in Beijing can run at $300 to even $600 a night, especially in the Sanlitun area which is known as a wealthier area, but definitely worth it when you see the abundance of shops and its accessibility to the subway system.
I was a bit reluctant to book at first as the hotel hardly had any online presence, and the few reviews seemed low. The more homework I did, the more I realized the hotel was possibly underrated. I took a chance and booked on Agoda.com (one of my favorite websites for booking hotels in Asia). It came to around $120 USD/night including tax. Breakfast wasn't included however there are countless cool little shops and diners in the area so I was okay that.
Each room has a funky theme to it. Mine had a Tiger Woods theme and was super modern, and comfortable. I was definitely pleased with my stay. Check out the review and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment below and I'll reply.
