Whelen WPS-2906 (full fast wail/whoop) tornado siren test ~ Lavon, TX 7/3/24"Annual Full-Scale Test"

I found this nice hill on Streetview and knew I had to film this siren from the top. When I arrived I was greeted with the sweet smell of reclaimed water and a field full of chiggers. The full fast wail and whoop as well as the insane echoes definitely made up for it though. Just wish it wasn't as windy, but whatever. I'm just glad my tripod didn't fall over.

So what time of year do they test in full like this? Might go sometime.

@@NormanWeather Travis usually schedules the full-scale test sometime during the summer months. He usually announces it a few months in advance :)
