i dont believe its possible. however - xrni files are basically compressed files that contain the project's samples as well as renoise scriots. you can decompress xrni files with software such as 7zip and that will give you the projects samples.

I have a small question: when playing the slices from the pattern editor, in your video they behave like cue points (like you mention). as in, when triggered they'll keep playing the rest of the loop, but from different start points. but on my end, playing different notes just plays the slice, and that's it. what's the option/toggle/parameter/setting that gets the cue-point-like behavior as displayed in your vid? cheers.
they aren't actually playing the rest of the sample after the slice. im just putting new slices where the other one would end. i'm a little confused by this question. feel free to elaborate if this isn't the answer your looking for
@@LilKevo303 I see what you mean. guess I was misunderstanding the use of the term 'cue points' (thinking like cues on a cdj). and being new to renoise, I misread the line setup in the pattern on your vid, which lead me to believe the rest of the sample was playing out when you were really just triggering the individual slices. Too bad though! the idea was interesting but it seems to essentially work like how it does in every other sampler/daw. I think it would be really interesting to chop breaks that way. anyway, thanks for the timely answer!
@@LilKevo303 by the way I located the option toggle I was looking for, it's the button next to the sensitivity meter at the top of the sample view, under the waveform tab of the sampler. It allows the sample to 'continue' beyond the slice, which makes for some interesting chopping capability. placing the individual hits probably still gives more control but this seems like a nice middle ground between individual slices and using beat offset. just thought I'd let you know! :)
oh, and you also must beatsync the root slice (ie. the full sample) use the T button to apply transpose and fine tune, then apply those values to every slice to ensure everything stays matched up.
