Right makes it more engaging to work as a team so everyone can contribute in doing their part 🥰🥰🥰 tanks are the vanguard melee DPS are infantry ranged DPS is support healers are the medic and the casters are artillery this game compliments this ideal wholeheartedly and I just love it 🤤
Based on what we've seen so far, both Sorcerer and Mage have the same vocation ability to spend more stamina to cast faster, so I believe the minigame would be kinda redundant, considering spells will be cast much more quicker now and we wouldn't have a lot of time to increase crit multiplier by spinning the things.@@fieryrebirth
I can't believe they only released this in Japan. I thought we were good allies now and I'm hurt by it. Well, I mean, she's mostly into the Fashion's Dogma part, but she still loves the game.
It was Japan only and after a couple years it got shut down. Anything shown now is likely from private servers as the original developers scrapped the game.
Totally forgot about collab armor, now I want it in DD2. Could see other Capcom stuff being added but would be cool if they actual collabs like with Berserk and AoT.
Maybe by watching this, a lot of people can finally cope with the idea of having only one weapon per vocation, and it's really not a bad thing, it makes all the vocations so much more unique (and fun imo). Great showcase Rift.
Just waiting for quest content to be workable, as I'm the type that's goal oriented. But the progress the team has made is nothing short of incredible.
Missed some secondary activations, like the counter that makes Fighter leap up. Secondary activation makes them spiral slash back down. Leaping stone second activation on Seeker makes them drop kick ( needs to be T version of skill), great windmill blade on Warrior makes more swings and gets faster as you keep pressing it. Warriors down stab, you can do from mid air ( which is quicker and better). Alchemist trampoline if used in mid air makes it a horizontal trampoline. And more.
That was my favorite Sorcerer spell in DDON by far, and there's even a charged attack that Rift didn't showcase, by holding the assigned button, the character unites every ice pillar and shoots in a single charged spell, and it deals a lot of damage. I'm gonna miss that if it's not in DD2 :(

Capcom did not have much experience in managing online games. That's why we initially required players to complete training quests to raise their levels, and because the conditions for achieving them were so strict, the servers became depopulated within a few months. In addition, in order to defeat a large monster, the game was designed so that a large number of players would be grabbed by the monster, shaken it, and their trunks would be shaved off to make them become stuck, so it was derided as a shaking game and players got tired of it. If we had expanded overseas, the Dragon's Dogma IP would have disappeared.
How close is the full reconstruction you reckon? I've been seeing their progress and I'm pleasantly surprised how far they've come with it in the last year alone.
I would say pretty far. Quests is a wip, but the enemy placements are close to 100% now. Even late game dungeons are manually filled with enemy encounters.
