As a child I lived in Coín from 64 till 72. My stepfather bought a couple of acres in Torremolinos, but sold it unfortunately and bought 15 acres between Coín and Alhaurín el Grande, losing millions along the way. Nevertheless I had a great youth in Andalucia.
@@andrewcdavies probarbly because it is now a over built up, concrete, disney land for rich expats. estepona has lost all its spanish charm over the last 8 years with the council messing about with it. now its just a overpriced dump for rich tourists to show off.
Love Estepona been going there since I was a kid. My first visit was in 1989 and though it’s changed a lot since then it still retains that Spanish charm that hasn’t been ruined by commercialism
@@888ssss I was shocked at the change when we were there last week. I see they’ve started the second segment of digging up the road now. Even though it’s a lot quieter and less cars. I can see the pros and cons.
Spain at that time was a dictator ship with people being murdered by Franco's fascist power. It seems that it wasn't that important for people having nice holidays there. Fascits symbols appear also in some moments of the video and no mentions for the political and social Spanish situation are made either... Who cares as long as Sangria and good food were cheap, din't it ?
Home sweet home. We've lived in Estepona for over 3.5 years. We love it.
Muchísimas gracias por subir este vídeo de mi amada y querida ciudad he recordado muchas cosas de mi infancia 👍👍
Y yo también.

@@barneyffc yeh they have totally ruined estepona, they put up a stupid big wheel and it is now a low carbon emission area.

That woman was born in 1885 😮
I think about when I was born in 1975 there would be so many people born in the 1800s and the reign of Queen Vic around.🤯
