seems you can get a mimaki complete setup for this same price... seems very expensive for what little your getting
Is the result as smooth as DTG or does it still feel like plastic on a t-shirt??
The feeling is close once you do a final press on the garment. You do feel a little difference but for a DTG it's impressive.
What kind of computer/laptop and/or software for the art? Or can you use any pictures?
Hi! For the artwork we used a combination of Pro Create and adobe illustrator. As long as the file is a png you can use any picture.
What material are you using?? I received a DTF sample pack, it included 100 sheets of A3 size transfer film. it DOES NOT have a shiny side, like your demo. i tried to print on either side and in both cases the ink just runs right off it. my settings are exactly like you had. im frustrated because tech support just send me old videos. im guessing the material is to blame, since my machine works fine for dtg. im using the dtf mode in software. i bought the vision because i knew it could do both, but ive yet to have a good print come out.
So you don’t like it? I would love to get something like this but it’s a lot of money.
@lesliekirylo76 No I like the machine. I've been trying to run DTF. I was using Ricoma material and it didn't work. I got it now tho. If you want a Sonic Jet I'm selling mine brand new!!

How is this different than the Luminaris 200?
With the Luminaris 200 you have to marry the A paper to the B Paper and it's a cold peel.
Aside from the marrying process, the DTG has a max printing area of 16x20, while the Luminaris is 8.5 x 11.

500 seconds at what temp?
Hi I believe it is at 325 degrees. When he pressed the shirt, he said he kept the machine at the same temperature he used to cook the film.
