The only thing a don’t like about it is the price. I’ll keep my eye out for a Black Friday sale. Really interesting product, just a little too expensive for me. I can see content creators jumping all over this. My 7 subs (3 of which are my kids) don’t warrant niceties like this. Great review. Did you get to keep the review unit they sent?
Display link is a protocol for sending video over USB. This keeps the Prompter from needing a hdmi or display port cable. I’m not sure if it would work as a display with a smartphone. It may need specific drivers to be detected. However, if it is plug and play and Samsung supports it; in theory it could be used as a secondary display.
@@HowToMediaHQ yeah this would be great if someone could try it because otherwise it only can be used with a computer and not in another room for example (when filming with a different background for example). As I understand this is the biggest weakness of this device that it is quite bulky so you would only be using it with your streaming setup and not when you are traveling. For the latter a traditional teleprompter where you can add any screen (smartphone, tablet, etc.) is better.

Could you kindly write some words about script handling? 1. is it possible to copy & paste it e. g. from M365 Word and 2. do you know where the script itseld is being stored and 3. whether you can access it anyhow from the filesystem? You can copy and paste. Script seems to be stored in the program in some form and it does persist through a restart. I haven’t dug in to see if a file is saved anywhere.
Primitive product. It’s a spin off of the parrot promoter with a screen. Concerns include PC Fan Noise, Plastic Shell, weak mounting points, not suitable if you use an external microphone with an audio recorder, not suitable if you use something like an Atomos Ninja. Need for a voice activated rich text teleprompter app with remote stop and start capabilities, mounting directly into a lens puts pressure on the camera which can be an expensive problem

You can actually delete chapters by pressing shift + delete or by removing the text of the entire chapter and then pressing backspace one more time
Just tried this and Shift+Delete worked. But removing all the text and pressing backspace isn’t working to remove chapters.

doesnt work. I have one and whenever I put my channel name into cam hub it wont display my chat. Trying to fix it. But what a ball ache its being.
I was able to get it to work with multiple channels. I’m not sure why it isn’t working for you.
what does usb displaylink mean? can I connect something like a samsung smartphone when I am on the go or streaming from my smartphone?

It's absolutely silly that they didn't include basic text formatting in the prompter app. Bold, italic, numbered list, etc.
