I saw the character Killua in passing recently while surfing through some art. Didn't know a thing about him or the anime he was from. Didn't even care to be honest. But when I saw this here video and let me tell you I wanted to know the anime and characters. I even cried. I felt so bad for the Killua guy. It looked like had a pretty sad bunch of things happen him. Now getting to my point. This video was so good it made me cry and care for characters I could have cared less about. On top of that it even got me interested in a anime I could have cared less about. The song helps it along too. Nice vid.
I guess if you look at this video without prior knowledge of the story it IS inspirationnal and a bit heart-clenching... You just made me realize again how much we, who know, tend to tune out the beautiful emotion in the scene just out of context because we, well, recontextualize the images... And how much they can mean too, without clutching to the anime and just listen and create links. Thank you. Might just watch it again just for that perspective, 😃

It's been a long time, but I still come back and watch this wonderful work of art. When I first saw this, I was at my lowest point. I'd been isolated for so long, been so distant from my family and friends, I couldnt even remember how to be happy like they were. I thought I was broken, beyond repair and was trying to face that truth. It may seem like a strange thing, but this video always comes back to me: because back then, I would truly have given my life to be human. To be able to live happily again. Well, here I am. I'm not the same person I was, and I didnt find my way back to who I was before: I'm someone completely new. I found my way back to my friends, found reasons to carry on and things I could be proud of. People I could help, ways I could be happy again. So I'll say again all these years later; thank you Chii, for this video and others like it. The care and love you put into them reached me, as I'm sure it did many others. You helped me be human again, thank you.

Fantastic and really well-timed. I haven't seen HxH but the themes were still conveyed brilliantly, my only complaint was I felt there was a little overuse of the fade effect in the first minute or so.

They were both so well implemented that I just thought of them as characters and not as progressive figures.

Afolabi Bukola Really there are some of aspects that this series does better like the villains that are more interesting, especially Hisoka who is very complex. Also the revenge part of this show is portrayed in a more interesting way.

Well, i watched HunterxHunter again and again and here is my conclusion: It seem obvious for me that Kirua has strong feeling for Gon. When both come back at gon's home, Gon proposes to Kirua to stay with him until he find a "purpose" and gon his father. Little by little, Kirua get attached to gon and the opposite is true. Is this love? I can't say for now. Then come the kimera's ant. I'm asking my selfif it's not the point where Kirua understand his strongs feeling toward gon. He wants to protect him, stay by his side. But he failed and MORE Gon moves away from him, obsessed by Kaito. I really think that Kirua has suffered enormusly from this. So Arula came and it was the occasion to protect seomeone while he failed with Gon. Kirua has always been afraid to become an assassin, and cannot protect his "most precious friend" is something terrible for him. Now, for the next chapter, if there are release someday, i don't know if Gon and Kirua will be again together. Just, In the end of the arc of election, No one tells to Gon that is Kirua saved him! I'd like so much that someone come at gon's home and say: GON YOU ARE SO SELFISH DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HURTED KIRUA? And Gon go looking for him and they stay together forever.... I will don't distrub me if they ship together, i even think they should be. But i don't know what going on with Togaishi, some people says he don't want to continue hxh...i hope it's just rumors. I want to see them together so much
