Chandler and Justin stole the night, two of the most violent and exciting fighters of all time. Chandler later admitted to not caring whether he won or lost the fight. Like do you want to be champion or not?
And thats saying something! Its not like Usman and Colby put on a snoozefest.... nor did Burgos v Quarantillo or Edgar v Vera... Alex Pereira gave us a highlight reel KO in the bout just before it..... but still, Gaethje v Chandler lived up to all the hype and gave us one for the ages, and naturally stole the night.

Bro Chandler has grown on me but he can say whatever he wanted the reason he was walking forward w his hands down was because he was about done…you could tell he was gassed from trying to take Justin’s head of the first few minutes of the fight like all the theatrics meant nothing motioning to Justin to hit him then he did w a jab then Chandler said to do it again and Justin hit him w a shot that made him do a 2 step😂😂 the fight was amazing though man I thought he was gonna finish Justin for a minute there but dude Justin is too good

Liddell vs Silva holds a special place in my heart, I was probably 12-13 and I was flipping through basic cable channels and stumbled upon “ufc unleashed” on a local net work and it was a bout between 2 savages and a kind of fight iv never seen before, the small gloves, the kicks, the elbows, and I was like “what the fuck is this?” I was astonished by the madness I was seeing ,It was my introduction to mma/ufc and it couldn’t have been introduced better by any other fighters, and that day I begged my dad to sign me up for what ever chaos I just witnessed, what ever fighting style they professed in, I wanted to learn, then I started training in Muay Thai and jiujitsu.

No, I wanted to but, I’m not sure why I didn’t, probably just cause I enjoyed it so much I didn’t wanna turn mma into a love hate relationship.

Woodley vs Thompson 1 was pretty good. The rematch was the snooze fest that unfortunately overshadowed the first one because of how bad it was. It was a very frustrating performance by both men, but especially Wonderboy because he did nothing to solidify himself as the winner, his passivity and inactivity in fights is why I can't call myself a fan of his.
Lewis vs Ngannou was a product of terrible circumstances. Give those men a rematch now when they're healthy and I guarantee its at least a decent fight.
