    Awww thank you sisi ,I love plantains ,I made plantain dodo for a church event to highlight an African dish, everyone was sooooo amazed with the taste ,very soon d bowls were empty .Everyone absolutely love the taste.

    I tried your beef-dodo recipe and my goodness!! It was sooooo yummy!! So yummy!! Added my own twist of fresh curry leaves and scent leaves too. Thank you so much for this recipe!! I kept going back for more!!

    I usually use a slightly soft plantain so that when I fry it it is a bit brown in color. I slice my veggies a bit bigger( spiral ) so we pick veggies with every spoonful. Well done and thank you so much.

    Sisi Yemmie! These are really delicious dishes. I've seen the plantain boats so many times so I've written it down to make for next week's meal plan. I love the last dish you made. It reminds of the fish pepper soup my mother made often when I was a young girl.

    I've had a kind of fried plantain called tostones. You cut the plantain into ~1" lengths, fry them the first time to soften, then you take them out and squash them flat into small discs and fry them again. So good dipped into mango chutney (that's not traditional, but tasty, so I don't care). :-D

    Lovely 😍😍😍... I like the way u fry inside of a mesh inside the pan. Such less mess, such less stress. My ex likes GizzDodo but I will surely enjoying feeding this delight to my true Nigerian God sent husband very soon. Amen

    I tried plantains and banana are better . Yet I do not used why not make shakes out of them & dry them than caramelized them in cinnamon & sugar cane or Brown sugar. Or for whole cake plantain bread ? And diced in coconut milk and flakes sugar for cake toppings or cookies dough bits. . Or fried in a pancake batter on a stick toss honey turmeric...
