Living in the Philippines for more than a decade now and invited a lot of your country men and women to visit Philippines is I consider great "achievement". Listening to your story, you sound like THE ABSOLUTE EPITOME OF A PERFECT INFLUENCER. You were able to convince a crowd in your home country to come and see Philippines. You deserve a Plaque of Recognition and Appreciation from the Philippine government -Tourism. You promoted Philippine tourism to Russian people single handedly through your Russian blog showing how captivating and enchanting Philippines is. Sounds like you didn't know the existence of Philippines until some people told you about it and you took the risk, you came, you saw, you liked and stayed. There are so many foreign bloggers in the Philippines that came but no one I can recall did what you did - introduce Philippines to their country/ies. Your life story Valentina is very inspiring. It has the good element of drama in life, the ups, the goods and the downs but don't be despair, God is watching over you. You came up with a very good business idea early on to earn a living honestly, to secure decent accommodation to your countrymen anticipating their arrival. Unfortunately, it didn't go as you imagined and look what happened with the British guy who owns the place you managed - went caput! That's what happened when you screw one's life - KARMA! Sounds like the English guy used you to gain access to Russian people so he can make business with them - what a loser! You looked so young and so very pretty during your early years in the Philippines. Don't get me wrong, you are still very pretty. Sharing to us your life story is a privilege. Just keep on blogging and before you know it, you are again managing another resort - cross your fingers. I hope to see more of your videos.

It's nice to see the Russian community is thriving on Samal. I first learned of this group almost 10 years ago on you tube I think. They were fruitarians/durian eaters and an Australian was the durian "guru". It's good to know that you guys are not limited to durian now. With the Davao-Samal bridge being constructed, there will be more local and maybe foreign tourists coming to Samal. Maybe it's time to expand your resorts, and maybe put up a vegetarian carinderia there. More success to all of you. Btw., you all looked very young in the photo, and you represent the best of Russia.

Thank you so much! I know you’re always serious back in Russia, but now that you’re here, let yourself unwind a bit-life’s too short to keep a stiff upper lip all the time. You only live once, so savor each moment and embrace the joy of it, because, in the end, life has a way of humbling us all!
Very good for yourself understanding and confidence in the Philippines and its Islands..living in such isolated place gives you energy to think on the next things on your future to go more progressive or remain in the normal flow of life....think different...trade different..

Valentina, I super agree with them saying that you deserve a recognition no less than from Ph gov’t or non-gov’t body for your valuable efforts in pioneering to build this Russian community of righteous people in the island of Samal. I also hope you would continue to blend well with the locals and them embracing and accepting you as their good neighbours. God bless your group and may all of you live peacefully at the place you’ve chosen to stay.

Thank you so much! I know you’re always serious back in Russia, but now that you’re here, let yourself unwind a bit-life’s too short to keep a stiff upper lip all the time. You only live once, so savor each moment and embrace the joy of it, because, in the end, life has a way of humbling us all!
