It amazes me there are so few views. I changed my regulator on a W203 after searching all over YT and the internet for good instructions. This is hands down the best I've seen. My replacement works perfectly without any issue - mechanical or cosmetic. Thanks for a really good video.

Came here for a speaker change. That plastic panel came off so quickly. No plastic clips around the edge? And what about disconnecting the battery?

I never disconnect the battery. Just leave the key off while working on it

Does the window regulator need to be centered or adjusted once installed? Seems like we are either hitting something or it is bottoming out on the down action

How do you "lock the window" in place? I usually use tape to hold it up, but it looks like you are moving it and it isn't falling

Temporary while replacing the regulator, suction cup $2.99 Harbor Freight Tools. Permanent drill a hole under where the cross bracket is and put in a screw

My front passenger window on my 2014 GLK350 goes up about a third of the way, slows down (you can hear the motor struggling), and usually reverses itself. I have to try 2-3 times to put it up and then it usually eventually goes up. It feels like the glass is running into something maybe? The window switch works, the motor works, I just don't know how to troubleshoot this issue. Any thoughts?

Is it true if your door lock breaks you have to replace the complete panel?

Not sure about that. For the window regulator you can just replace the regulator.
