Happy 20th Anniversary to one of hip-hop's most perfect albums. The beats, the lyrics, the delivery; they're all the best. I used to only know of this song from my childhood when the MV was played on TV, as well as "Great Expectations" being included on the Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX soundtrack. I was at that festival! A friend drug me away from the Happy Hardcore tent, and it was the first time I ever really listened to J5. I was blown away by the live show! I always wondered whether that mic passing was really due to technical difficulties or part of the show, because it fucking WORKED. I was so impressed!

It's melodic, the song has dynamics and flows, the lyrics are written by doods who have an obvious grasp of the English language and use it effectively to transmit ideas and feelings. If more groups had this type of intelligence I'd probably be a bigger convert to this genre.
