Praying for you and your family, my (Misty) daughter was diagnosed with Lupus last summer at 19. The diagnosis really helped, and the medication made a HUGE difference in her life. She didn't realize what it was like to live without pain, which as a parent was just heartbreaking. So thankful you have answers, and praying that you and your doctor can find a treatment plan that works for you.
I am so sorry to hear about your medical condition and pray for full healing and restoration. Will you be sharing the scholarship search and how to do it? My son wants to go into engineering so we need all the help we can get.
Prayers for you and your family. I have a cousin who has lupus and it has been a battle. Prayers for God to direct your doctors to a way to help manage the organs affects and bring more good days than rough days.
Lupus is an ugly disease my mom had it and she was constantly in pain so I am praying that it doesn't get passed down to me but irregardless I am praying for you and your healing cause it's a long uphill battle to deal with!
Praying for you! ❤ We enrolled my son in dual enrollment for next year. He will be doing an English class and a communications class. I was scary to take that first step. Having said that, at our local community college, dual enrollment is half the price of taking it as a college student so that is a win!
Would you recommend dual enrollment over CLEP tests? I tested out of 18 credits my first semester of college. It was a huge money saver. Dual enrollment seems to be very popular, though... Also, I know you probably get a lot of advice, but AIP Paleo and Wahl's Protocol diets reversed my autoimmune markers ❤
I'm sorry for your lupus but glad you seem to have gotten to the bottom or what your ailments have been. I have been in a quandary about dual enrollment because while it is my first choice, all of the classes I found cost quite a bit and I'm not sure that the few that are somewhat affordable are ones where they will really transfer to the schools my kids will ultimately attend. I am thinking about going the AP route instead. The student doesn't actually have to take an AP designated class to take the test. But of course, if the student doesn't get a 4 or 5 it won't count. Please let us know what you decide about dual enrollment and any tips on finding great scholarships.
So sorry to hear about your lupus diagnosis. I have a friend who has the diagnosis and was also experiencing some symptoms myself. I went to the doctor and they checked my blood and said I was OK, but after seeing a functional medicine doctor she told me that I was heading towards an auto immune disease and she is helping me so much. If you have someone who practices functional medicine close to you who is reasonable I highly recommend looking into them. Also Jordan Page just shared about how she went into remission from an auto immune disease using functional medicine and her video is on UA-cam. ua-cam.com/video/yras-ZzXqOY/v-deo.htmlsi=C4SmBLVikVN57-95

Praying for you and your family though this diagnosis. May God bless you, your family and your doctors.

My mom has had lupus since her early 30s. It was wild like as a kid but also a good life. Having a sick mom really made me a great adult.
As a fellow Lupus momma, I'm giving you an internet hug. The struggle of our invisible disease is REAL.

Sending prayers to our Heavenly Father for your health. Love thrift books 📚
Going gluten free reversed my lupus blood markers dramatically. Seriously, please try going gluten free. I found out later I am celiac.
