These videos are insanely helpful. It's crazy that I took 4 years of Spanish in highschool and two years in college (including advanced classes) and never heard any of the things you teach. Thank you so much!!
So true😂 I’m just starting to learn really good because of his videos Just want to let you know that Jesus loves YOU❤ he died on the cross to set you free from sin and he rose to life 3 days later Turn away from evil and trust in Jesus Christ to be saved God wants a relationship with ya❤
As an spanish, "si no te importa" it's like a little bit rude and "hazme el favor" is more for moms, we use more like "por favor" (formal) "porfa" "porfis" and "plis".
Your videos are so appreciated. They really add to my lessons, and thanks to you, I get to surprise my Colombian tutor on Thursday nights with a new phrase. We do zoom from Madrid, near Bogotá. Being Canadian, I really like "si no te importa" y por supuesto, lo siento. 😁
saying "Haz el favor de..." souds agressive and its like the imperative way of saying please and the "si no te importa" isnt used by anyone, we may use for extra formality "Cuando puedas" which translates into "Whenever u can" which is as common to say as "por favor"
Here in the southernmost of the Philippines, in zamboanga city and Basilan with chavacano, when we use "por favor", thats already commanding you to do something because its either your inattentive or youre not listening. Cause these two words come with authority when delivered.
XD FOR EXAMPLE: ¿Me pasas el agua? Porfas. ¿Me Prestas un lápiz? Porfas. Soy malo en matemáticas, ¿Me ayudas? Porfas. Porfas= Por favor. Saludos de México 🤠✌🏻🇲🇽
I learn more Spanish in a short period of time watching this guy's videos then my whole life growing up with realities, friends and neighbors who where bilingual
Such great videos!!! Thank you so much. I can't pick up where you're from. Dominicans make the 'r' sound like a 'l' at the end of words sometimes and I'm not picking up on that. Your Spanish is very correct, so I'm not picking up any accent. I know it's not from Spain, Chile or Mexico. Still I'm thinking Dominican, but not from Villa Duarte. Doesn't sound Cuban either... Hmmm.... Don't know. Please tell me. I'm interested in different accents.
@@Jm8ney Thank you so much. :) I need to go to PR. Never been there, but I know some of my homies are very good cooks. And who doesn't like Salsa? On the other hand, I am old school, so can you recommend any old boleros from back in the day from PR? Music is a great way to learn language. Thank you again for all your hard work.
"Haz el favor de" sounds kind of rude. That phrase is when you're annoyed with someone, like a mom telling off her child: Haz el favor de recoger la habitación
Haz el favor de pasarme la sal, is wrong, I speak spanish and ive never used this expretion to ask for something, is gonna be always better use por favor
Raise your body in reference to the camera. Your cramming things in at the bottom and I’m watching via iPhone there’s a caption at the bottom that blocks the words. There’s a ton of empty space above your head.

that's really curious. In spanish that's not always the case and it is really the context of the moment that will tell you.
@@Vrio_Side really depends on the situation and execution though
Perdóname no quería ofender solo dar mi opinión

Porfa is the most common way to say please
Just say Porfi 😂
‘Si no es molestia’ - if it doesnt bother you (pass the salt)

I am spanish and nobody speaks like this guy, this guy is american and has a mental confusion in his head about the languaje.
Pero es mas facil
Can you say the sentence is just a little bit slower for people with a slower ear lol

No estoy de acuerdo...el porfavor siempre
¿Podría/as darme/ponerme/alcanzarme/entregarme etc?.
"Podría/as..." lo utilizamos mucho en España.

Is haz a form of haber?
Is form "hacer" 😊
1st person singular form of the verb hacer used in the imperative form.
@@wesleyearl9010 actually 2nd person singular imperative form. there's no 1st and 3rd person in the imperative.
